Abstract
Sikap tanggung jawab anak terutama dalam kegiatan makan di TK X masih rendah, diantara permasalahan yang ditemukan anak seringkali tidak menghabiskan makan, meninggalkan sisa makanan yang berserakan begitu saja tanpa membereskannya, anak cenderung tidak mematuhi waktu yang sudah diatur sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab anak pada kegiatan makan melalui penerapan table manner. Penerapan table manner di dalamnya terdapat aturan tata cara makan yang harus dipatuhi sehingga melelui aturan tersebut anak mampu belajar sikap tanggung jawab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas model Pelton. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu PAUD yang berada di Solokanjeuk Kabupaten Bandung dengan partisipan penelitian anak usia 5-6 tahun berjumlah 10 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah wawancara, lembar penilaian kemampuan sikap tanggung jawab anak, dan catatan lapangan. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak empat kali tindakan. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan sikap tanggung jawab anak melalui penerapan table manner. Hasil persentase akhir sebesar 95, 62% menunjukkan kategori baik, ditunjukkan dengan anak sudah mampu mencapai setiap indikatornya tanpa dibantu atau diingatkan dan mendapat skor yang diharapkan. Diperkuat dengan hasil rumus N-gain yang menghasilkan nilai sebesar 0, 923 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Kesimpulan yang didapat berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut bahwa penerapan table manner dapat membantu meningkatkan sikap tanggung jawab anak usia 5-6 tahun pada saat kegiatan makan. -------------- Children's attitude of responsibility, especially in eating activities at Kindergarten X is still low, among the problems found children often do not finish eating, leave food scraps scattered without cleaning them up, children tend not to obey the time set by the school. This study aims to improve children's attitude of responsibility in eating activities through the application of table manners. The application of table manners in which there are rules for eating procedures that must be obeyed so that through these rules children are able to learn responsible attitudes. The research method used is the Pelton model classroom action research method. The research was conducted in one of the PAUD located in Solokanjeuk, Bandung Regency with research participants aged 5-6 years totaling 10 people. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The instruments used were interviews, assessment sheets of children's responsibility skills, and field notes. The research was conducted four times. The results obtained show that there is an increase in children's responsibility attitudes through the application of table manners. The final percentage result of 95, 62% shows a good category, appointed by the teacher.
