Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan keterampilan menulis dan menganalisis kesulitan menulis permulaan siswa fase A sekolah dasar berdasarkan Kurikulum Merdeka di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah delapan orang siswa kelas satu, delapan orang siswa kelas dua, satu orang guru kelas satu, dan satu orang guru kelas dua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis siswa fase A sangat beragam. Beberapa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam berbagai aspek menulis, seperti posisi tubuh yang tidak benar, kesulitan dalam mengikuti arah menulis, penggunaan garis yang tidak tepat, ukuran dan bentuk huruf yang tidak konsisten, kerapatan tulisan yang tidak konsisten, bentuk huruf yang salah, ketidaklengkapan huruf dalam kata, kesalahan dalam pengenalan huruf, penggunaan huruf besar dan kecil yang salah, serta penggunaan tanda baca yang salah. Hambatan yang dihadapi siswa dalam menulis permulaan meliputi kesulitan dalam menguasai keterampilan motorik halus, kurangnya pemahaman tentang struktur huruf dan kata, serta lingkungan belajar yang kurang mendukung. Solusi untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut adalah melalui Latihan Latihan motorik halus, pembelajaran struktur kalimat, meningkatkan minat dan motivasi, Teknik penulisan yang benar, dukungan individual, dan peningkatan kerjasama dengan orang tua. This research aims to describe writing skills and analyze writing difficulties at the beginning of phase A elementary school students based on the Merdeka Curriculum in Bandung City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were eight first grade student, eight first grade students, one first grade teacher, and one second grade teacher. The research results show that the writing abilities of phase A students vary greatly. Some students experience difficulties in various aspects of writing, such as incorrect body position, difficulty in following writing directions, inappropriate use of lines, inconsistent size and shape of letters, inconsistent writing density, incorrect letter shapes, incomplete letters in words, errors in letter recognition, incorrect use of upper and lower case letters, and incorrect use of punctuation. Barriers faced by students in beginning writing include difficulties in mastering fine motor skills, lack of understanding of the structure of letters and words, and a learning environment that is less supportive. The solutios to overcome these obstacles is through fine motor training, learning sentence structures, increasing interest and motivation, correct writing techniques, individual support, and increasing cooperation with parents.
