Abstract

Dalam mempelajari bahasa asing, penguasaan kosakata sangatlah penting. Hal ini dikarenakan kosakata merupakan dasar yang dapat meningkatkan kemahiran berbahasa. Tanpa penguasaan kosakata yang kuat, maka pencapaian kefasihan pun akan sulit. Penguasaan kosakata dapat ditingkatkan dengan bantuan dari metode-metode pembelajaran yang efektif, sehingga pembelajaran pun lebih mudah untuk dimengerti dan mengasah daya ingat yang dimiliki setiap individu pemelajar. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penggunaan metode pembelajaran mimicry-memorization terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Korea tingkat dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur pengaruh dari penerapan mimicry-memorization terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Korea pada tingkat dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-eksperimental bentuk One-Group Pre-test Post-test Design yang melibatkan 50 peserta didik kelas X Bisnis Daring dan Pemasaran (BDP) SMK Pasundan Rancaekek sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh antara penggunaan mimicry-memorization method terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Korea tingkat dasar yang dipakai sebagai pembelajaran dalam tingkat SMK secara signifikan. Hal ini didasari dengan hasil uji peningkatan pre-test dan post-test dengan rata-rata yang diawali sebesar 53,68 menjadi 78,96. Analisis hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dengan hasil bahwa nilai taraf signifikansi (0,000) < 0,05 memperkuat hasil penelitian ini, sehingga hipotesis alternatif (Ha) dapat diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Selain itu, ada pula angket berupa kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada peserta didik dengan hasil menunjukkan respon yang positif terhadap metode ini. In learning a foreign language, vocabulary mastery is crucial, as it is the foundation upon which language proficiency is built. Without a strong vocabulary, achieving fluency becomes challenging. Vocabulary mastery can be enhanced through effective learning methods that make the process more comprehensible and improve retention. This study focuses on the use of the mimicry-memorization method to enhance basic Korean vocabulary mastery. The primary objective is to assess the impact of this method on students’ vocabulary acquisition at the basic level. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, specifically the One-Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The sample consisted of 50 students from class X Bisnis Daring dan Pemasaran (BDP) at SMK Pasundan Rancaekek. The findings indicated a significant improvement in vocabulary mastery following the application of the mimicry-memorization method, as evidenced by the increase in average scores from 56.72 in the pre-test to 80.00 in the post-test. Hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test revealed a significance level of 0.000, which is greater than 0.05, and a wcount of 9.00, which is less than the wtable value of 466. Consequently, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. These results suggest that the mimicry-memorization method significantly enhances basic Korean vocabulary mastery. Additionally, the results of a questionnaire distributed to students indicated positive responses to the method in terms of attitude, knowledge, and language skills. 본 연구는 외국어를 공부할 때 어휘력을 향상시키는 것이 필수적임을 강조한다. 어휘력이 부족하면 한국어 능력을 달성하기 어려울 것이다. 학습 방법의 도움이 필요하며, 이를 통해 학습 과정에서 학습자가 개별적으로 이해하기 쉽고 기억력을 높일 수 있다. 보다 효과적인 언어 능력을 달성하기 위해, 특히 기본 한국어 어휘 숙달에 있어 모방-암기법 학습 방법의 사용과 관련된 연구를 소개한다. 본 연구의 목적은 모방-암기법의 적용이 기초 수준에서 한국어 어휘 숙달도에 미치는 영향을 측정하는 것이다. 본 연구는 10학년 Bisnis Daring dan Pemasaran (BDP) 반 학생 50명을 대상으로 단일 집단 사전 실험 연구 설계를 적용한 양적 연구이다. 연구 결과, 기초 수준의 한국어 어휘 숙달도를 향상시키는 데 있어 모방-암기법의 사용이 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여주었다. 이는 사전 검사와 사후 검사에서 평균 점수가 56.72에서 80.00으로 개선된 결과를 바탕으로 한다. Wilcoxon 검정법을 사용한 결과, wcount > wtable (9.00 < 466) 혹은 유의수준 (0.000) > 0.05로 나타났으며, 이에 따라 가설 Ha는 채택되고 Ho는 기각되었다. 따라서 모방-암기법은 기초 수준의 한국어 어휘 숙달도를 크게 향상시킬 수 있다는 결론을 내릴 수 있으며, 이는 학생들에게 배포한 설문지 결과에서도 확인할 수 있다. 설문 결과, 학생들은 모방-암기법을 통해 한국어 어휘 숙달에 대해 태도, 지식, 언어 능력 측면에서 긍정적인 반응을 보였다.
