Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kualitas soal latihan membaca tingkat menengah dalam buku TOPIK II (토픽2) 합격 레시피 실전모의고사 yang digunakan untuk mempersiapkan ujian TOPIK. Mengingat pentingnya penyediaan soal latihan yang berkualitas, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana butir soal tersebut memenuhi standar kualitas yang diharapkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan teori pengukuran klasik, yang mencakup uji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, indeks daya beda, dan efektivitas pengecoh. Hasil analisis terhadap 31 butir soal menunjukkan bahwa 18 butir soal (58%) valid dan 13 butir soal (42%) tidak valid, serta reliabilitas soal tergolong tinggi dengan nilai 0,79. Tingkat kesukaran soal sebagian besar berkategori sedang (77%), serta 7% pada kategori sukar dan 16% pada kategori mudah. Indeks daya beda menunjukkan 71% butir soal berkualitas cukup, baik hingga sangat baik, sedangkan sisanya memerlukan perbaikan. Efektivitas pengecoh menunjukkan 61% butir soal memiliki pengecoh baik hingga sangat baik, 35% soal memiliki pengecoh yang cukup, sementara beberapa butir soal membutuhkan revisi karena pengecohnya tidak berfungsi optimal. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa soal latihan membaca tingkat menengah dalam buku TOPIK II (토픽2) 합격 레시피 실전모의고사belum layak dan memerlukan revisi untuk meningkatkan kualitasnya sebagai alat latihan tes TOPIK. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam memilih soal latihan alternatif yang baik untuk mempersiapkan tes TOPIK. This study evaluates the quality of intermediate-level reading practice questions in the book TOPIK II (토픽2) 합격 레시피 실전모의고사, used for TOPIK exam preparation. Recognizing the importance of high-quality practice questions, the research assesses the extent to which the items meet expected standards. A descriptive quantitative method with a classical test theory approach was employed, including tests of validity, reliability, difficulty index, discrimination index, and distractor effectiveness. Analysis of 31 items revealed that 18 (58%) were valid, while 13 (42%) were not. The reliability was high, with a score of 0.79. Most questions (77%) were of moderate difficulty, 7% were difficult, and 16% were easy. The discrimination index indicated that 71% of the items were of fair to very good quality, though some required improvement. The distractor effectiveness analysis showed that 61% of the items had good to very good distractors, while 35% were adequate, and some needed revision due to suboptimal distractor functioning. These findings suggest that the questions in the book are not feasible and require revision to improve their quality as a practice tool for the TOPIK test. This study provides valuable insights for selecting effective practice questions for TOPIK preparation. 본 연구는 한국어능력시험 대비를 위한 TOPIK II (토픽2) 합격 레시피 실전모의고사 교재의 중급 읽기 연습 문제의 품질을 조사하는 데 목적을 두었다. 양질의 연습 문제 제공의 중요성을 감안하여, 본 연구는 문항이 기대되는 품질 기준에 어느 정도 부합하는지를 평가하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구 방법으로는 타당도, 신뢰도, 문항 난이도, 문항 변별도, 체커의 효과성 등 고전검사이론에 기반한 서술적 정량법을 사용했다. 31문항을 분석한 결과 18문항(58%)이 타당하였고, 13문항(42%)이 타당하지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 문항의 신뢰도는 0.79로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 문항의 난이도는 중 77%로 대부분을 차지했으며, 어려운 문항은 7%, 쉬운 문항은 16%였다. 문항 변별도는 71%의 문항이 공정, 좋음, 우수로 나타났으며, 나머지는 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 체커의 효과성은 61%의 항목이 우수~양호, 35%의 항목이 충분한 것으로 나타났으며, 일부 항목은 발췌가 최적의 기능을 하지 못해 수정이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 대부분의 문항을 활용할 수 없으니, 일부 문항은 한국어능력시험의 실습도구로서의 질적 향상을 위해 수정이 필요함을 나타낸다. 이에 본 연구는 한국어능력시험 준비를 위한 좋은 대안실습 문항 선정에 참고할 수 있는 결과를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
