Abstract

Permasalahan menulis sudah menjadi hal yang umum dihadapi oleh peserta didik. Berdasarkan tinjauan literatur dan observasi langsung di lapangan, ditemukan bahwa kesulitan yang sering dialami siswa adalah dalam menyampaikan dan mengembangkan ide secara tertulis. Oleh karena itu, penulis melakukan penelitian untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) melalui penguatan literasi informasi dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi di SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model SSCS yang dapat mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif dan antusias, serta meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan kolaboratif. Model ini juga berfungsi sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru dan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) dengan desain penelitian ADDIE (Branch, 2009), yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validasi kelayakan produk dengan nilai rata-rata desain model pembelajaran sebesar 97% dalam kategori “Sangat Layak.” Validasi media pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata 91% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak,” sedangkan validasi materi dan evaluasi mendapatkan nilai 97% dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Hasil nilai prates dan pascates siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Selain itu, respons pengguna terhadap model ini menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran SSCS yang mengedepankan penguatan literasi informasi dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi di SMA layak dan dapat digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dalam menulis teks eksplanasi. The issue of writing has become a common challenge faced by students. Based on literature reviews and direct observations in the field, it was found that the difficulties frequently experienced by students involve expressing and developing ideas in writing. Therefore, the author conducted research to develop the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model through the enhancement of information literacy in the teaching of explanatory text writing in high schools. This study aims to produce an SSCS model that can encourage students to be more active and enthusiastic, as well as improve their problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. This model also serves as a solution to address the issues faced by both teachers and students. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE design (Branch, 2009), which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The research results show the validation of product feasibility, with an average score of 97% for the learning model design in the “Very Feasible” category. The validation of learning media obtained an average of 91% in the “Very Feasible” category, while the validation of materials and evaluation received a score of 97% in the “Very Feasible” category. The results from the pre-test and post-test scores of students also indicate significant improvement. Additionally, user feedback on this model shows positive results. This demonstrates that the SSCS learning model, which emphasizes the enhancement of information literacy in teaching explanatory text writing in high schools, is feasible and can be used to meet the needs in writing explanatory texts.
