Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai pemenuhan hak pengambilan keputusan anak dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Montessori di PAUD. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bentuk-bentuk pemenuhan hak pengambilan keputusan dalam pembelajaran, persepsi guru terhadap efektivitas model Montessori dalam pembelajaran, dan faktor-faktor yang dapat mendukung impelementasi model Montessori dalam pembelajaran di PAUD. Hak-hak anak penting untuk dilindungi dan dipenuhi oleh semua komponen masyarakat. Salah satu hak mendasar anak adalah hak pengambilan keputusan anak dalam mengambil keputusan yang dapat mempengaruhi dirinya yang seringkali belum terpenuhi dengan optimal dalam lingkungan PAUD. Model Montessori dipilih karena dianggap memberikan anak kebebasan untuk membuat keputusan di dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dengan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model Montessori efektif dalam memenuhi hak pengambilan keputusan anak di PAUD. Dalam pembelajaran model Montessori, anak diberikan kebebasan untuk memilih media dan aktivitas yang diminati, serta guru Montessori memiliki persepsi positif terhadap efektifitas dari model Montessori dalam memenuhi hak pengambilan keputusan anak. ----------- This study examines the fulfillment of children's decision-making rights in the learning process using the Montessori model in PAUD. The purpose of this study was to understand the forms of fulfillment of decision-making rights in learning, teachers' perceptions of the effectiveness of the Montessori model in education, and factors that can support the implementation of the Montessori model in learning in PAUD. Children's rights must be protected and fulfilled by all components of society. One of the basic rights of children is the right to make decisions that can affect them, which is often not optimally fulfilled in the PAUD environment. The Montessori model was chosen because it gives children the freedom to make decisions in the learning process. The research method used is a survey with a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that the Montessori model is effective in fulfilling children's decision-making rights in PAUD. In Montessori model learning, children are given the freedom to choose the media and activities they are interested in, and Montessori teachers have a positive perception of the effectiveness of the Montessori model in fulfilling children's decision-making rights.
