Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis persepsi orang tua tentang penggunaan gadget pada siswa, (2) mengukur self regulated learning siswa yang menggunakan gadget, (3) memverifikasi apakah terdapat hubungan antara persepsi orang tua tentang penggunaan gadget terhadap self regulated learning siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode korelasional. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah persepsi orang tua tentang penggunaan gadget, dan variabel terikat pada penelitian ini adalah self regulated learning siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah orang tua dan siswa SD Islam El-Akhyaar, sejumlah 92 orang tua dan siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan melalui whatsApp group dalam bentuk google form, serta angket yang dibagikan langsung untuk siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan linearitas menggunakan SPSS versi 25, uji korelasi bivariate dan uji T untuk mengetahui hubungan dan pengaruh antara dua variabel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) persepsi orang tua tentang penggunaan gadget sangat tinggi sebesar 4.3%, persepsi tinggi sebesar 40.2%, sedang sebesar 25.0%, yang memiliki persepsi rendah sebesar 16.3%, dan yang memiliki persepsi sangat rendah sebesar 14.1% dari populasi sejumlah 92 responden, (2) siswa yang memiliki self regulated learning sangat tinggi sebesar 29.3%, tinggi sebesar 32.6%, sedang sebesar 25.0%, rendah sebesar 7.6% dan sangat rendah 5.4% dari populasi 92 siswa, (3) memiliki arah hubungan positif yang kuat antara persepsi orang tua tentang penggunaan gadget terhadap self regulated learning siswa dengan perolehan nilai (ρ) sebesar 0.604 setelah dilakukan uji signifikansi korelasi sederhana menggunakan uji t didapatkan thitung sebesar 8.002. Apabila dibandingkan dengan ttabel sebesar 1.987, maka thitung 8.002 > ttabel 1.987. Dengan nilai siginifikansi 0.05, diperoleh perhitungan 0.00 < 0.05 maka Ho ditolak, dengan demikian persepsi orang tua tentang penggunaan gadget berpengaruh pada self regulated learning siswa. ----------- This study aims to: (1) analyse parents' perceptions of gadget use in students, (2) measure students' self regulated learning who use gadgets, (3) verify whether there is a relationship between parents' perceptions of gadget use and students' self regulated learning. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a correlational method. The independent variable in this study is parents' perception of gadget use, and the dependent variable in this study is students' self regulated learning. The samples in this study were parents and students of El-Akhyaar Islamic Elementary School, a total of 92 parents and students. Data collection used questionnaires distributed through whatsApp groups in the form of google forms, as well as questionnaires distributed directly to students. Data analysis used normality and linearity tests using SPSS version 25, bivariate correlation tests and T tests to determine the relationship and influence between the two variables. The results of this study show: (1) parents' perception of gadget use is very high by 4.3%, high perception by 40.2%, moderate by 25.0%, who have low perception by 16.3%, and who have very low perception by 14.1% from a population of 92 respondents, (2) students who have self regulated learning are very high by 29.3%, high by 32. 6%, moderate by 25.0%, low by 7.6% and very low by 5.4% from a population of 92 students, (3) there is a strong positive relationship direction between parents' perceptions of gadget use on students' self regulated learning with the acquisition of a value (ρ) of 0.604 after testing the significance of a simple correlation using the t test, a tcount of 8.002 is obtained. When compared with the t table of 1.987, then the tcount is 8.002> t table 1.987. With a significance value of 0.05, a calculation of 0.00 <0.05 is obtained, so Ho is rejected, thus parents' perceptions of gadget use affect students' self regulated learning.
