Abstract
---------- This research is motivated by the reality that there are children with special needs (ABK) categorized as mildly intellectually disabled in inclusive schools who have not yet received learning services according to their needs. Inclusive schools have not yet developed a curriculum that accommodates the needs of ABK, resulting in less than optimal learning outcomes for ABK. The purpose of this study is to develop an adaptive curriculum supplement to improve mathematics learning services for mildly intellectually disabled children in grade IV elementary schools. This research method uses Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis stage includes a comprehensive needs analysis through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The design stage focuses on designing a comprehensive adaptive curriculum supplement. This supplement includes learning objectives, materials, learning methods and strategies, learning media, and assessments that are tailored to the needs of mildly intellectually disabled children. Development stage, at this stage the adaptive curriculum supplement that has been designed is then developed into a finished product in the form of a written document. The implementation stage involves validation by experts and practitioners to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed adaptive curriculum supplement. The evaluation stage includes improvements to the adaptive curriculum supplement based on notes and input from experts. The results showed that the developed adaptive curriculum supplement is feasible to use and received a positive response from the school. However, schools need to improve teachers' understanding of the adaptive curriculum and the needs of mildly intellectually disabled children.
