Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa kreativitas siswa masih terkendala ketika belajar membuat karya seni mozaik, terutama ketika menggunakan media sampah plastik. Siswa masih mengalami kendala dalam mengembangkan kreativitas atau menuangkan ide dan imajinasinya melalui karya seni mozaik. Guru kurang mampu menciptakan kegiatan siswa yang mendorong kreativitas siswa dalam pembuatan karya seni mozaik, terlihat dari guru yang masih banyak menggunakan contoh karya seni mozaik melalui gambar saja daripada praktik langsung dengan siswa. Kurangnya rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap hasil karyanya disebabkan oleh guru yang kurang mampu memberikan rasa percaya diri yang cukup kepada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran siswa kelas IV SD terhadap karya seni mozaik pada pembelajaran seni rupa dan untuk mengetahui hasil kreativitas siswa kelas IV SD dalam membuat karya seni mozaik pada pembelajaran seni rupa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif deskriptif. Objek penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 162 Warungjambu. Instrumen yang digunakan dalan penelitian berupa lembar indikator penilaian kreativitas dan lembar wawancara berupa pertanyaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis yang dilakukan pada karya seni mozaik siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk mengetahui kreativitas siswa dalam membuat karya seni mozaik di SDN 162 Warungjambu ini kreativitasnya sudah baik dilihat dari 24 orang siswa yang sudah muncul kreativitasnya itu terdapat 23 orang siswa, dengan jumlah aspek indikator kreativitas yang dimiliki lebih dari 5 aspek. --------- This research is motivated by the fact that students' creativity is still constrained when learning to make mosaic artworks, especially when using plastic waste media. Students still experience obstacles in developing creativity or expressing their ideas and imagination through mosaic artwork. Teachers are less able to create student activities that encourage student creativity in making mosaic artworks, as seen from teachers who still use many examples of mosaic artworks through pictures rather than direct practice with students. Students' lack of curiosity about their work is caused by teachers who are not able to give enough confidence to students. The purpose of this research is to find out the learning process of grade IV elementary school students towards mosaic artwork in fine arts learning and to find out the results of the creativity of grade IV elementary school students in making mosaic artwork in fine arts learning. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis method. The research objects in this study were fourth grade students of SDN 162 Warungjambu. The instruments used in the research are creativity assessment indicator sheets and interview sheets in the form of questions. Based on the results of research and analysis conducted on students' mosaic artwork, it can be concluded that to find out the creativity of students in making mosaic artwork at SDN 162 Warungjambu, their creativity is good, seen from 24 students whose creativity has appeared, there are 23 students, with the number of aspects of creativity indicators owned by more than 5 aspects.
