Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan sampah plastik yang sulit diurai sehingga menyebabkan timbunan sampah terus meningkat. Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kesadaran, membekali kepedulian, keterampilan juga solusi terhadap masalah lingkungan khususnya pengelolaan sampah plastik salah satunya dengan melaksanakan proyek ecobrick. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk 1) Mendeskripsikan Pengelolaan Project Ecobricks di Sekolah Dasar. 2) Mendeskripsikan Penerapan Model Project Based Learning dalam pembelajaran “Ecobricks” di Sekolah Dasar. 3) Mendeskripsikan kepedulian siswa terhadap pemecahan sampah plastik. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, angket, dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa SDN 036 Ujungberung dan SDN 077 Sejahtera telah mengelola dan menerapkan model project based learning ecobrick, serta terdapatnya kepedulian siswa terhadap pemecahan masalah sampah plastik dengan keterlibatan tinggi dalam proyek ecobrick. ---------- This research is based on the problem of plastic waste that is difficult to decompose, causing the pile of waste to continue to increase. Education has an important role in forming awareness, equipping awareness, skills and solutions to environmental problems, especially plastic waste management, one of which is by implementing ecobrick projects. The objectives of this study are to 1) describe the Management of Ecobricks Project in Elementary Schools. 2) Describe the Application of the Project Based Learning Model in "Ecobricks" learning in Elementary Schools. 3) Describe students' concern for plastic waste solutions. This study applies a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive research type. The data collection techniques applied in this study are interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of the study show that SDN 036 Ujungberung and SDN 077 Sejahtera have managed and implemented the project-based learning ecobrick model, and there is student concern for solving the problem of plastic waste with high involvement in the ecobrick project.
