Abstract
Pemahaman konsep matematika sebagai sesuatu aspek yang selalu digunakan dalam kehidupan, termasuk materi bangun datar. Namun pada kenyataannya ditemukan kesulitan siswa memahami konsep matematika mengenai bangun datar. Dengan demikian, penyampaian materi bangun datar membutuhkan media kongkret agar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran My Busy book dan perbedaan tingkat pemahaman matematika tehadap pemahaman siswa pada materi bangun datar kelas III SD. Metode yang digunakan pada pelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimental Design serta menggunakan sub desain Nonequivalent Control Group design dengan tujuan bahwa kelompok eksperimen maupun kelompok kontrol tidak dipilih secara random. Sampel yang akan digunakan yaitu kelas III SDN 225 Mekargalih Kota Bandung dan kelas III A SDN 021 Ciporeat Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran My Busy book terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis materi bangun datar di kelas III A SD. Berdasarkan pengolahan data, rata-rata hasil pretest pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 58,7, sedangkan hasil posttest pada kelas eksperimen adalah 74,1. Terdapat peningkatan signifikan dari rata-rata nilai pretest dan rata-rata nilai posttest. Rata-rata hasil pretest pada kelas control yaitu 56,36, sedangkan hasil posttest kelas eksperimen yaitu 64,36. Intervensi atau perlakuan yang diberikan dalam kelas eksperimen memiliki dampak yang lebih signifikan terhadap peningkatan nilai siswa. ----------- Understanding mathematical concepts as an aspect that is always used in life, including flat shapes. However, in reality it was found that students had difficulty understanding the mathematical concept of flat shapes. Thus, delivering material about flat figures requires concrete media in order to increase students' understanding. This research aims to find the effect of using the My Busy book learning media and differences in levels of mathematical understanding on students' understanding of flat figures in class III elementary school. The method used in this research is quantitative with a Quasi Experimental Design research type and uses a Nonequivalent Control Group design sub-design with the aim that the experimental group and control group are not chosen randomly. The samples that will be used are class III SDN 225 Mekargalih Bandung City and class III A SDN 021 Ciporeat Bandung City. The results of the research show that there is an influence of using the My Busy book learning media on understanding the mathematical concepts of flat shape material in class III A elementary school. Based on data processing, the average pretest result in the experimental class was 58.7, while the posttest result in the experimental class was 74.1. There was a significant increase in the average pretest score and the average posttest score. The average pretest result in the control class was 56.36, while the posttest result in the experimental class was 64.36. The intervention or treatment given in the experimental class has a more significant impact on increasing student grades.
