Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya memiliki literasi finansial sejak dini. Literasi finansial memiliki empat indikator penting, yaitu konsep mendapatkan uang (earning), konsep berbelanja (spending), konsep menabung (saving), dan konsep berbagi (sharing). Namun, pada kenyataannya pendidikan literasi finansial di sekolah masih belum dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh kurangnya bahan ajar ataupun model yang disusun secara khusus untuk meningkatkan literasi finansial siswa fase B sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data dan mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas bahan ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan literasi finansial siswa fase B dengan harapan penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan literasi finansial siswa fase B. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan tes. Pada tahap analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji perbedaan rata-rata, dan uji N-Gain untuk menentukan hasil dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi finansial siswa fase B. Berdasarkan data yang didapat, membuktikan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan literasi finansial siswa fase B yang berarti penggunaan bahan ajar tersebut efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi finansial fase B; This research is motivated by the importance of having financial literacy from an early age. Financial literacy has four important indicators, namely the concept of earning money, the concept of spending, the concept of saving and the concept of sharing. However, in reality financial literacy education in schools is still not implemented comprehensively. This is caused by a lack of teaching materials or models specifically designed to increase the financial literacy of phase B elementary school students. The aim of this research is to obtain data and find out how effective Problem Based Learning-based teaching materials are in increasing the financial literacy of phase B students with the hope that this research can be useful for increasing the financial literacy of phase B students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design . Participants in this research were fourth grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews and tests. At the data analysis stage, the normality test, homogeneity test, average difference test and N-Gain test were used to determine the results and draw conclusions. The results obtained from this research are that Problem Based Learning-based teaching materials are effective in increasing the financial literacy of phase B students. Based on the data obtained, it proves that Problem Based Learning-based teaching materials can increase the financial literacy of phase B students, which means that the use of these teaching materials is effective for increasing financial literacy phase B.
