Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. Beberapa faktor utama yang ditemukan meliputi kurangnya model pembelajaran yang mendukung eksplorasi kreatif dan minimnya aktivitas yang merangsang berpikir kreatif. Selain itu, lingkungan belajar yang tidak mendukung dan kurangnya kesempatan untuk berlatih berpikir kreatif juga turut mempengaruhi permasalahan ini. Sehingga diperlukan model dan media pembelajaran yang inovatif agar dapat membantu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model RADEC berbantuan google sites dan perbedaan peningkatan antara model RADEC dan inquiry berbantuan google sites pada pembelajaran IPS materi keragaman budaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan design non-equivalent control group pretest posttest di kelas IV pada dua sekolah yang berbeda. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan lembar observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistik deskriptif, inferensial dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC berbantuan google sites terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas IV pada pembelajaran IPS materi keragaman budaya. (2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penerapan model RADEC dengan model inquiry berbantuan google sites terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada pembelajaran IPS materi keragaman budaya. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model RADEC berbantuan google sites sebaiknya dipertimbangkan sebagai metode yang cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS, terutama pada materi keragaman budaya. Model ini juga menunjukkan keunggulan dibandingkan model Inquiry dalam konteks yang sama, sehingga dapat menjadi pilihan yang lebih baik untuk mencapai tujuan kreatifitas dalam pembelajaran. ---------- This research is motivated by the problem of low creative thinking skills among students in social studies learning. Several main factors found include the lack of learning models that support creative exploration and minimal activities that stimulate creative thinking. Additionally, a non-supportive learning environment and limited opportunities to practice creative thinking also contribute to this problem. Therefore, it is necessary to have innovative learning models and media to help develop students' creative thinking abilities. Hence, this study aims to determine the effect of implementing the RADEC model assisted by Google Sites and the difference in improvement between the RADEC model and inquiry model assisted by Google Sites in social studies learning on the material of cultural diversity. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest in grade IV at two different schools. The instruments used in this study are tests of creative thinking abilities and observation sheets. Data analysis is performed using descriptive statistical tests, inferential tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that: (1) There is an effect of the RADEC learning model assisted by Google Sites on the creative thinking abilities of grade IV students in social studies learning on the material of cultural diversity. (2) There is a significant difference between the application of the RADEC model and the inquiry model assisted by Google Sites on students' creative thinking abilities in social studies learning on the material of cultural diversity. Therefore, the implementation of the RADEC model assisted by Google Sites should be considered as a quite effective method for enhancing students' creative thinking skills in social studies, particularly on the topic of cultural diversity. This model also shows advantages compared to the Inquiry model in the same context, making it a better option to achieve creativity goals in learning.
