Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran menulis guguritan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) dalam pembelajaran menulis guguritan yang memuat kemampuan siswa dalam menulis guguritan sebelum dan setelah dilaksanakan mode AIR. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuasi eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design kepada siswa kelas 8A SMPN 2 Bandung dengan menggunakan teknik tes sebagai data primer, serta angket dan wawancara sebagai data sekunder. Teknik pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menghasilkan tiga hal. Pertama, kemampuan siswa dalam menulis guguritan sebelum dilaksanakan model AIR termasuk dalam kategori “rendah” dengan nilai rata-rata 37. Kedua, kemampuan siswa dalam menulis guguritan setelah dilaksanakan model AIR termasuk dalam kategori “tinggi” dengan nilai rata-rata 75. Ketiga, adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan siswa sebelum dan setelah dilaksanakan model AIR. Berdasarkan hasil data uji hipotesis, dalam penelitian ini memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan pada pembelajaran menulis guguritan siswa kelas 8A SMPN 2 Bandung tahun ajaran 2023/2024 sebelum dan setelah dilaksanakan modél AIR. Oleh karenanya, model AIR cocok dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis guguritan. This research was motivated by the lack of understanding of junior high school students in learning to write guguritan. The aim of this research is to describe the application of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model in learning to write academies which includes students' abilities in writing accompaniment before and after implementing the AIR model. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental one group pretest-posttest design method for class 8A students at SMPN 2 Bandung using test techniques as primary data, as well as questionnaires and interviews as secondary data. The data processing technique in this research is to use quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the research, three things were produced. First, students' ability to write guguritan before the implementation of the AIR model is included in the “low” category with an average score of 37. Second, students' ability to write guguritan after the implementation of the AIR model is included in the “high” category with an average score of 75. Third, there is a significant difference between students' abilities before and after the implementation of the AIR model. Based on the results of hypothesis test data, in this study there is a significant difference in learning to write guguritan for grade 8A students of SMPN 2 Bandung for the 2023/2024 school year before and after the implementation of the AIR model. Therefore, the AIR model is suitable and effective in learning guguritan.
