Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara di Sekolah dasar bertujuan untuk menyampaikan informasi berupa pendapat agar pesan tersampaikan. Namun, keterampilan berbicara siswa ketika pembelajaran masih cukup rendah karena siswa merasa takut dan malu untuk berbicara. Selain itu, siswa berbicara tanpa memerhatikan pengucapan vokal yang baik, volume suara yang tidak jelas, masih terdapat campuran bahasa daerah, berbicara terlalu cepat, dan tidak menggunakan ekspresi wajah ketika berbicara. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kondisi awal pada keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Time Token, untuk mengetahui kondisi akhir pada keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Time Token, untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Time Token terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperiment desain one-group pre-test post-test. Sampel yang digunakan kelas III sebanyak 23 siswa. Hasil penelitian: 1) Keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sebelum menerapkan model pembelajaran Time Token di Kelas III SDN C termasuk dalam kategori rendah dengan rata-rata pre-test sebesar 39,8; 2) Keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sesudah menerapkan model pembelajaran Time Token di Kelas III SDN C termasuk dalam kategori cukup tinggi dengan rata-rata post-test sebesar 60,91; 3) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Time Token terhadap keterampilan berbicara pada materi dongeng siswa Kelas III SDN C sebesar 48,01%. Speaking skills in elementary school aim to convey information in the form of opinions so that the message is conveyed. However, students' speaking skills during learning are still quite low because students feel afraid and embarrassed to speak. In addition, students speak without paying attention to good vocal pronunciation, unclear voice volume, there is still a mixture of local language, speak too fast, and do not use facial expressions when speaking.The purpose of this study was to determine the initial conditions in the speaking skills of grade III elementary school students before using the Time Token learning model, to determine the final conditions in the speaking skills of grade III elementary school students after using the Time Token learning model, to determine the effect of the Time Token learning model on the speaking skills of grade III elementary school students. The method used in this research is pre-experiment one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample used was class III as many as 23 students. The results of the study: 1) Students' speaking skills in Indonesian language learning before applying the Time Token learning model in Class III SDN C are in the low category with an average pre-test of 39.8; 2) Students' speaking skills in Indonesian language learning after applying the Time Token learning model in Class III SDN C are included in the high enough category with an average post-test of 60.91; 3) 3) there is an effect of the Time Token learning model on students' speaking skills in learning Indonesian language in Class III SDN C by 48.01%.
