Abstract
Kemampuan literasi numerasi merupakan keterampilan dasar yang penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, data menunjukan bahwa tingkat literasi numerasi siswa sekolah dasar masih rendah. Hal ini dapat diketahui melalui penalaran dan kreativitas siswa yang belum terbiasa dalam memecahkan masalah terkait numerasi yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan media wordwall terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa dan menganalisis kemampuan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan media wordwall lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group desain. Desain ini membagi dua kelas yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV tahun ajaran 2023/2024 di Kota Cirebon. Sampel yang digunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas IVB sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas IVA sebagai kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) sebesar 66,8%. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa pendekatan RME memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. Pada interpretasi rata-rata kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol terdapat dalam kriteria sedang namun rata-rata kemampuan literasi numerasi pada kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dengan rata-rata kelompok kontrol sehingga terdapat peningkatan dalam kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education. Sehingga kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan wordwall lebih baik dengan siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional yaitu pendekatan saintifik. ----- Numeracy literacy is a basic skill that is important in various aspects of daily life. However, the data shows that the level of numeracy literacy of elementary school students is still low. This can be seen through the reasoning and creativity of students not accustomed to solving numeracy-related problems related to everyday life. This study was conducted to analyze the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach assisted by wordwall media on students' numeracy literacy skills and analyze the ability of students who learn with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach assisted by wordwall media better than students who get conventional learning. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. This design divides two classes, namely the experimental group and the control group. The study population was fourth-grade students in the 2023/2024 school year in Cirebon. The samples used were two classes, namely class IVB as the experimental group and class IV as the control group. Based on the study results, there was a significant effect of using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach of 66.8%, so it can be stated that the RME approach influences students' numeracy literacy skills. The interpretation of the average in the experimental group and the control group is based on moderate criteria. However, the average numeracy literacy skills in the experimental group are higher than the average of the control group. Hence, there is an increase in the numeracy literacy skills of students who use the Realistic Mathematics Education approach. The numeracy literacy skills of students who use the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach assisted by wordwall are better with students who use conventional learning approaches, namely the scientific approach.
