Abstract

Pembelajaran seni rupa memerlukan kegiatan yang bersifat unik agar dapat meningkatkan kreativitas bila diterapkan kepada siswa. Kenyataannya, kreativitas belum sepenuhnya tersalurkan dengan optimal karena pembelajaran lebih berorientasi pada pendekatan akademik dan kurangnya sarana prasarana. Oleh karena itu, terdapat teknik finger painting dengan tujuan meningkatkan kreativitas melukis siswa kelas 1 SD. Selain itu, teknik ini menggunakan alat dan bahan yang mudah didapatkan sehingga guru dapat menerapkannya di dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif desain pre-eksperiment one group pretest-posttest. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu seluruh siswa kelas 1 di SDN Sukamaju 1 Cimahi yang berjumlah akhir 38 siswa. Teknik penelitian menggunakan unjuk kerja, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu rubrik penilaian, lembar observasi, dan catatan anekdot. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji hipotesis dengan uji paired sample t-test, dan uji n-gain. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, rata-rata dari hasil pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan yaitu 72,566 menjadi 89,079. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05 yang artinya H_0 ditolak dan H_1 diterima serta menujukkan terdapat peningkatan kreativitas dalam melukis menggunakan teknik finger painting yang siginifikan. Dalam uji n-gain didapatkan hasil 0,5735 yang berarti kriteria koefisien nilai n-gain berada pada korelasi “Sedang” sedangkan nilai n-gain persen sebesar 57,35 menunjukkan bahwa kriteria tafsiran efektivitas berada pada tafsiran “Cukup Efektif”. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik finger painting efektif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dalam melukis pada siswa kelas 1 SD. Art learning requires unique activities in order to increase creativity when applied to students. In fact, creativity has not been fully channeled optimally because more oriented to the academic approach and lack of infrastructure. Therefore, there is a finger painting technique with the aim of increasing the painting creativity of grade 1 elementary school students. In addition, this technique uses tools and materials that are easily available so that teachers can apply it in learning. This study used a quantitative approach of one group pretest-posttest pre-experiment design. The population and sample used were all grade 1 students at SDN Sukamaju 1 Cimahi, which amounted to the final 38 students. The research technique used performance, observation, and documentation studies. The instruments used were assessment rubrics, observation sheets, and anecdotal records. The data analysis used was normality test, hypothesis test with paired sample t-test, and n-gain test. Based on the data obtained, the average of the pretest and posttest results increased from 72.566 to 89.079. Based on the hypothesis test, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, which means that H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted and shows that there is a significant increase in creativity in painting using finger painting techniques. In the n-gain test, the results obtained are 0.5735, which means that the criteria for the n-gain value coefficient are in the “Moderate” correlation while the n-gain percent value of 57.35 indicates that the criteria for interpreting effectiveness are in the “Quite Effective” interpretation. Thus it can be concluded that the finger painting technique is effective for increasing creativity in painting in grade 1 elementary school students.
