Abstract
Di era society 5.0 dibutuhkan kemampuan dalam menjawab tantangan
perkembangan zaman, salah satunya kemampuan berpikir kritis. Untuk
meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, diperlukan model
pembelajaran yang sesuai. Terdapat dua model yang diasumsikan dapat
meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yaitu model Problem Based
Learning (PBL) dan model Inkuiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V yang menggunakan model
pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain
posttest only control group design without randomization. Populasi yang
digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SDN X Kota Bandung. Data
diperoleh dengan instrument tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang telah
divalidasi. Analisis data diolah dengan bantaun SPSS versi 26, untuk
membandingkan skor kemampuan berpikir kritis antar dua kelas digunakanlah
uj-t. Proses pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen menggunakan model
pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, sedangkan kelas kontrol
menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V yang
menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dan model Inkuiri. Hal ini
terlihat dari hasil uji Independent Sample T-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi
sebesar 0,043 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan
terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V yang
menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dan model Inkuiri pada
indikator Advance Clarification. Sedangkan, pada indikator elementary
clarification, basic support, inference, dan strategies and tactics tidak terdapat
perbedaan.
In the era of society 5.0, the ability to answer the challenges of the times is
needed, one of which is the ability to think critically. To improve students'
critical thinking skills, an appropriate learning model is needed. There are
two models that are assumed to improve students' critical thinking skills,
namely the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the Inquiry model. This
study aims to find out the difference in critical thinking skills of grade V
students who use the Problem Based Learning learning model and the Inquiry
Learning Model. The research method used is Quasi Experimental with a

a critical thinking ability test instrument that has been validated. Data
analysis was processed with the help of SPSS version 26, to compare the
scores of critical thinking skills between two classes, uj-t was used. The
learning process in the experimental class uses the Problem Based Learning
learning model, while the control class uses the Inquiry learning model. The
results of the study showed that there was a difference in the critical thinking
ability of grade V students who used the Problem Based Learning model and
the Inquiry model. This can be seen from the results of the Independent Sample
T-test obtained a significance value of 0.043 which is smaller than 0.05. The
results of the study also showed that there was a difference in the critical
thinking ability of grade V students who used the Problem Based Learning
model and the Inquiry model on the Advance Clarification indicator.
Meanwhile, there was no difference in the elementary clarification, basic
support, inference, and strategies and tactics indicators
