Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum digunakannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture di SMAN 22 Bandung. Dengan pemilihan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture diharapkan dapat merealisasikan peningkatan hasil belajar yang lebih terarah. Untuk menentukan pengaruh hasil belajar aspek kognitif, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kontrol grup yang tidak setara. Dua kelompok sampel terdiri dari 36 siswa di kelas XI IPS 1 yang berfungsi sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture dan 36 siswa di kelas XI IPS 2 yang berfungsi sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pretest dan posttest, dan data dianalisis dengan uji-t. Nilai rata-rata sebelum perlakuan sebesar 50,27 dan nilai rata-rata setelah perlakuan sebesar 83,19 lebih besar dari 78, yang menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif. Dalam kelas kontrol, model pembelajaran discovery learning tidak berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Nilai rata-rata sebelum perlakuan sebesar 51,52 dan nilai rata-rata setelah perlakuan sebesar 76,94, masing-masing. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan bahwa, berdasarkan taraf signifikasi 0,05, nilai t_hitung 3,55 lebih besar daripada t_tabel 2,021. Oleh karena itu, ada bukti bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. This research was motivated by the fact that the Picture and Picture cooperative learning model had not yet been used at SMAN 22 Bandung. By selecting the Picture and Picture type cooperative learning model, it is hoped that more targeted improvements in learning outcomes can be realized. To determine the influence of cognitive aspects of learning outcomes, this research used a quasi-experimental method with an unequal group control design. The two sample groups consisted of 36 students in class The data collection process was carried out using pretest and posttest, and data was analyzed using t-test. The average score before treatment was 50.27 and the average score after treatment was 83.19, which is greater than 78, which shows that the picture and picture type cooperative learning model contributes to improving cognitive learning outcomes. In the control class, the discovery learning model had no impact on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. The average value before treatment was 51.52 and the average value after treatment was 76.94, respectively. The results of the t-test analysis show that, based on a significance level of 0.05, the calculated t_value of 3.55 is greater than the t_table of 2.021. Therefore, there is evidence that the picture and picture type cooperative learning model can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.
