Abstract
Penelitian ini berfokus pada penggarapan novel psikologis berjudul "Elipsis: yang Belum Usai," yang dirancang sebagai bahan bacaan nonteks untuk siswa SMA. Novel merupakan satu dari sekian banyak jenis karya sastra yang memiliki peran vital dalam merefleksikan kehidupan manusia, menjadi medium ideal untuk mengeksplorasi dan menggambarkan kompleksitas realitas kehidupan, khususnya bagi remaja. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis mengidentifikasi dan mengolah isu psikologis inner child yang kompleks dan sering ditemukan di berbagai media sosial atau lingkungan sekitar. Adapun tujuan dan motivasi utama penelitian ini adalah menciptakan materi bacaan yang lebih dari sekadar hiburan; yang juga memberikan wawasan psikologis dan mendukung perkembangan kognitif remaja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian berbasis seni dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam. Hasil wawancara menjadi sumber inspirasi utama dalam penulisan novel ini. Dalam novel, konflik inner child dijelaskan melalui perjalanan tokoh utama, menciptakan narasi yang menggugah dan autentik. Karya sastra ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai konflik inner child serta memberikan efek katarsis bagi pembaca yang mungkin mengalami situasi serupa. Berdasarkan penilaian beberapa pihak terkait, novel ini memiliki nilai sebesar 90,95% dari 100%. Itu artinya novel yang dibuat melalui penelitian ini sudah sangat memenuhi aspek-aspek penilaian yang telah dilakukan. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa novel ini layak untuk dijadikan sebagai salah satu bahan bacaan nonteks untuk siswa SMA. This research focuses on the development of a psychological novel entitled "Elipsis: The Unfinished," which was designed as non-text reading material for high school students. Novels are one of the many types of literary works that have an important role in reflecting human life, becoming an ideal medium for exploring and depicting the complexity of life's realities, especially for teenagers. Through this research, the author identifies and processes complex inner child psychological issues that are often found on various social media or the surrounding environment. The main aim and motivation of this research is to create reading material that is more than just entertainment; which also provides psychological insight and supports adolescent cognitive development. The research method used is arts-based research with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews. The results of the interviews became the main source of inspiration in writing this novel. In the novel, the inner child's conflict is explained through the main character's journey, creating an evocative and authentic narrative. It is hoped that this literary work can provide a deep understanding of children's inner conflicts and provide a cathartic effect for readers who may experience similar situations. Based on the assessment of several related parties, this novel has a score of 90.95% out of 100%. This means that the novel created through this research really meets the aspects of the assessment that has been carried out. It can be concluded that this novel is suitable to be used as non-text reading material for high school students.
