Abstract

Guru merupakan salah satu faktor yang memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan efikasi diri pada proses pembelajaran geografi. Efikasi diri peserta didik merupakan salah satu dimensi penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis peran guru geografi terhadap tingkat efikasi diri peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri Kota Tangerang, memahami tingkat efikasi diri peserta didik di SMA Negeri Kota Tangerang serta menganalisis pengaruh peran guru geografi terhadap tingkat efikasi diri peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri Kota Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh SMA Negeri Kota Tangerang dengan populasi peserta didik sebanyak 9.271 dan seluruh guru geografi berjumlah 30 guru geografi. Dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling, sampel peserta didik yang digunakan sebanyak 285 peserta didik dan seluruh guru geografi berjumlah 30 guru geografi. Variabel penelitian ini adalah peran guru geografi dan tingkat efikasi diri peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif persentase dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran guru geografi terhadap tingkat efikasi diri peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase data angket 88,4%. Tingkat efikasi diri peserta didik di SMA Negeri Kota Tangerang berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai persentase rata-rata 77,5%. Peran guru geografi berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat efikasi diri peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri Kota Tangerang. Berdasarkan analisis regresi diperoleh persamaan regresi Y = 3,303 + 0,914X. Simpulan dari penelitian, peran guru geografi terhadap tingkat efikasi diri peserta didik pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri Kota Tangerang dalam kategori sangat tinggi, tingkat efikasi diri peserta didik di SMA Negeri Kota Tangerang dalam kategori tinggi, terdapat pengaruh positif antara peran guru geografi terhadap tingkat efikasi diri. Self-efficacy of students is one of the important dimensions in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of geography teachers on the level of self-efficacy of students in geography subjects in Tangerang City State High Schools, to determine the level of self-efficacy of students in Tangerang City State High Schools and to analyze the effect of the role of geography teachers on the level of self-efficacy of students in geography subjects in Tangerang City State High Schools. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method. The population of this study was all public high schools in Tangerang City with a population of 9,271 students and all geography teachers totaling 30 geography teachers. By using proportional random sampling technique, the sample of students used was 285 students and all geography teachers amounted to 30 geography teachers. The variables of this study are the role of geography teachers and the level of self-efficacy of students. The research instruments used were questionnaires, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis used descriptive percentage and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the role of geography teachers on the level of self-efficacy of students was in a very high category with a percentage of questionnaire data of 88.4%. The level of self-efficacy of students in public high schools in Tangerang City is in the high category with an average percentage value of 77.5%. The role of geography teachers has a positive effect on the level of self-efficacy of students in geography subjects in public high schools in Tangerang City. Based on regression analysis, the regression equation Y = 3.303 + 0.914X was obtained. In conclusion, the role of geography teachers on the level of self-efficacy of students in geography subjects in Tangerang City State High School is in a very high category, the level of self-efficacy of students in Tangerang City State High School is in a high category, there is a positive influence between the role of geography teachers on the level of self-efficacy.
