Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta dilapangan serta hasil observasi mengenai kondiri berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar yang masih rendah. Salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya berpikir kritis siswa yakni kurangnya model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Melihat kondisi tersebut, diperlukan upaya yang dapat memaksimalkan kebutuhan siswa dalam belajar, untuk itu salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu melalui penggunaan model PBL berbasis TPACK dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Adapun tujuan dari penelitin ini yaitu untuk mengatuhi pengaruh dan perbedaan dari penggunaan model PBL berbasis TPACK dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain penelitian the matching-only pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 23 siswa kelas IV di SDN Pagarsih sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 23 siswa kelas IV di SDN Bandung Kulon sebagai kelas kontrol. Analisis data dilakukan melalui deskriptif data, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji perbedaan rerata uji-T. Hasil analisis data pada kelas eksperimen menunjukan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 47,83 dan posttest sebesar 62,17 dengan selisih sebesar 14,34 hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh berpikir kritis siswa yang menerima model PBL berbasis TPACK. Sementara nilai rata-rata posttest di kelas eksperimen yakni sebesar 62,17 dan posttest dikelas kontrol sebesar 54,78 dengan selisih nilai sebesar 7,39 hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan berpikir kritis yang signifikan antara siswa yang menerima model PBL berbasis TPACK dengan siswa yang tidak berpikir kritis siswa yang menerima model PBL berbasis TPACK di sekolah dasar. One of the factors causing students' low levels of critical thinking is the lack of learning models used in learning. Seeing these conditions, efforts are needed that can maximize students' learning needs, for this reason one of the efforts that can be made is through the use of the TPACK-based PBL model in classroom learning. The aim of this research is to determine the influence and differences of using the TPACK-based PBL model in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a matched-only pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study was 23 class IV students at SDN Pagarsih as the experimental class and 23 class IV students at SDN Bandung Kulon as the control class. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive data, normality test, homogeneity test, and T-test. The results of data analysis in the experimental class showed an average pretest score of 47.83 and posttest of 62.17 with a difference of 14.34. This shows that there is an influence on students' critical thinking who receive the TPACK-based PBL model. Meanwhile, the average posttest score in the experimental class was 62.17 and the posttest in the control class was 54.78 with a score difference of 7.39. This shows that there is a significant difference in critical thinking between students who received the TPACK-based PBL model and students who students who receive the TPACK-based PBL model in elementary school do not think critically.
