Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Fungsi Musik pada pertunjukan Kabaret “Lutung Kasarung” ekstrakurikuler New Kabisa di SMA BPI 1 Bandung”. Permasalahan dan tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bagaimana peranan musik sebagai backsound pertunjukan kabaret tersebut, bagaimana fungsi musik pada akting aktor dan aktris pertunjukan tersebut dan bagaimana respon apresiator pada pertunjukan kabaret tersebut. Metode yang digunkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa peranan dan fungsi musik sangat penting pada pertunjukan kabaret terutama kepada para aktor dan aktris yang berperan pada pertunjukan kabaret tersebut sehingga apresiator yang hadir dapat menikmati dan merasa terhibur dengan pertunjukan kabaret tersebut. This research is entitled "The Function of Musik in the New Kabisa Extracurricular "Lutung Kasarung" Cabaret Performance at SMA BPI 1 Bandung". The problem and aim of this research is to describe and analyze the role of musik as the background sound of the cabaret performance, how musik functions in the acting of the actors and actresses of the performance and how the appreciators respond to the cabaret performance. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by researchers through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this research explain that the role and function of musik is very important in cabaret performances, especially for the actors and actresses who play roles in the cabaret performance so that appreciators who attend can enjoy and feel entertained by the cabaret performance.
