Abstract
Aplikasi marbel merupakan aplikasi berbasis pendidikan yang didalamnya terdapat materi sekaligus game edukasi yang membuat siswa belajar dengan interaktif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi marbel dalam materi keragaman budaya terhadap penalaran sikap toleransi siswa. Indikator penilaian penalaran sikap toleransi siswa: 1) Menunjukkan sikap positif untuk menerima sesuatu yang baru, 2) Siswa mampu menerima adanya keberagaman suku, 3) Siswa mampu menerima adanya keberagaman ras, 4) Siswa mampu menerima adanya keberagaman budaya, 5) Menunjukkan keinginan kuat untuk mempelajari sesuatu dari orang lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental, Non-Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi marbel dan pembelajaran konvensional memiliki pengaruh terhadap penalaran sikap toleransi siswa. Rerata skor post-test meningkat di kelas eksperimen maupun kontrol. Rerata skor pre-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 60,00 meningkat 20,00 menjadi 80,00 pada post-test. Rerata skor pre-test kelas kontrol sebesar 50,00 meningkat 10,00 menjadi 60,00 pada post-test. Analisis N-gain score menunjukkan penggunaan aplikasi marbel memiliki efektifitas cukup. Nilai rata-rata N-gain score untuk kelas eksperimen (aplikasi marbel) adalah 57,3810 atau 57,3 % yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup ekfektif. Nilai rata-rata N-gain score untuk kelas kontrol (konvensional) adalah 21,9303 atau 21,9% yang termasuk dalam kategori tidak efektif. Beberapa faktor yang memepengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran seperti; keterbatasan waktu, adaptasi siswa dengan materi baru, serta kondisi lingkungan sekolah. --------------- Marbel application is an education-based application in which there is material as well as educational games that make students learn interactively and fun. This study aims to determine the effect of using the marbel application in cultural diversity material on students' tolerance attitudes. Indicators of student tolerance attitude assessment: 1) Show a positive attitude to accept something new, 2) Students are able to accept ethnic diversity, 3) Students are able to accept racial diversity, 4) Students are able to accept cultural diversity, 5) Show a strong desire to learn something from others. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design, Non-Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Design. The results showed that marbel application-based learning and conventional learning had an influence on students' tolerance attitudes. The average post-test score increased in both experimental and control classes. The average experimental class pre-test score of 60.00 increased by 20.00 to 80.00 in the post-test. The average pre-test score of the control class of 50.00 increased by 10.00 to 60.00 in the post-test. N-gain score analysis shows that the use of marbel application has sufficient effectiveness. The average value of N-gain score for the experimental class (marble application) is 57.3810 or 57.3% which is included in the moderately effective category. The average value of N-gain score for the control class (conventional) is 21.9303 or 21.9% which is included in the ineffective category. Several factors affect the effectiveness of learning such as; time constraints, student adaptation to new materials, and school environmental conditions.
