Abstract
Membaca merupakan bagian penting dalam membentuk dasar berpikir kritis. Minat baca yang dibangun sejak dini juga dapat merangsang imajinasi dan kreativitas anak, membantu mereka memahami dunia di sekitar mereka melalui cerita dan gambar. Namun permasalahan yang terjadi saat ini, anak-anak lebih suka menonton tv dan bermain gadget sehingga kegiatan membaca ini dianggap kegiatan yang kurang menyenangkan bagi anak. Melihat keadaan dan kondisi sekarang dimana masih rendahnya tingkat minat baca, maka diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan minat baca anak pada usia dini. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan bentuk pembelajaran secara bertahap menggunakan metode storytelling dengan media buku digital interaktif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah metode storytelling ini dapat meningkatkan minat baca anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 tindakan. Setiap tindakan terdiri dari 5 tahapan seperti identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, dan penilaian hasil. Hasil dari penelitian ini pada tindakan I diperoleh hasil persentase sebesar 46% yang termasuk kategori cukup, pada Tindakan II hasil penilaian anak meningkat menjadi 62% termasuk kategori baik, dan pada Tindakan III meningkat menjadi 80% yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, minat baca anak usia dini dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan metode storytelling dengan media buku digital interaktif. ------------ Reading is an important part in forming the basis for critical thinking. An interest in reading that is built from an early age can also stimulate children's imagination and creativity, helping them understand the world around them through stories and pictures. However, the current problem is that children prefer to watch TV and play with gadgets, so reading is considered an unpleasant activity for children. Seeing the current situation and conditions where the level of interest in reading is still low, efforts are needed to increase children's interest in reading at an early age. This research was carried out by implementing a gradual form of learning using the storytelling method with interactive digital book media. The aim of this research is to find out whether this storytelling method can increase young children's interest in reading. The research method used was classroom action research which carried out 3 actions. Each action consists of 5 stages such as problem identification, data collection, action planning, action implementation, and results assessment. The results of this research in action I obtained a percentage of 46% which was in the sufficient category, in action II the child's assessment results increased to 62%, which was in the good category, and in action III it increased to 80% which was in the very good category. Thus, early childhood interest in reading can be increased through the application of storytelling methods using interactive digital book media.
