Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis di Indonesia yang masih cukup rendah dapat dilihat dari hasil PISA, Indonesia menempati peringkat 10 terbawah dari 79 negara yang berpartisipasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan setting cooperative learning tipe course review horay terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sekolah dasar kelas V, selain itu tujuannya adalah untuk mengukur perbedaan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan setting cooperative learning tipe course review horay dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SD Negeri 4 Rawalo sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SD Negeri 2 Banjarparakan sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan setting cooperative learning tipe course review horay dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik dibuktikan dengan perolehan rata-rata data n-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,71 yang masuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan hasil uji-t dua sampel dengan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan antara peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan menerapkan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan setting cooperative learning tipe course review horay dengan peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning. ----------- This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving abilities in Indonesia, which are still quite low as evidenced by the results of the PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment). Indonesia ranks among the bottom 10 out of 79 participating countries. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of implementing the problem-based learning model through cooperative learning with the horay course review type on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade elementary school students. Additionally, the goal is to measure the difference in the effects of applying the problem-based learning model through cooperative learning with the horay course review type compared to the problem-based learning model alone. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experiment employing a nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. The samples used in this research are SD Negeri 4 Rawalo as the experimental class and SD Negeri 2 Banjarparakan as the control class. The results of the research indicate the influence of implementing the problem-based learning model through cooperative learning with the horay course review type in enhancing the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students. This is evidenced by the average n-gain data of the experimental class, which is 0.71, falling into the high category. The research results also show a difference in the impact on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students between the experimental and control classes. This is supported by the results of a two-sample t-test with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00, indicating a difference in the improvement of mathematical problem-solving abilities between students in the experimental class, who received learning by applying the problem-based learning model through cooperative learning with the horay course review type, and students who received learning with the problem-based learning model alone.
