Abstract
Setelah beberapa tahun terakhir siswa melakukan pembelajaran dari rumah (daring), beberapa siswa mendapat penurunan hasil belajar ketika kembali belajar secara tatap muka, salah satunya dikarenakan siswa merasa canggung dengan lingkungan belajar dan kesulitan berinteraksi dengan guru dan teman sebayanya. Pada situasi tersebut student engagement penting untuk menjadi fokus perhatian, karena student engagement merupakan salah satu kunci keberhasilan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dinamika student engagement siswa Madrasah Aliyah pada pembelajaran pasca Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi dinamika student engagement siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, melalui wawancara mendalam kepada 3 siswa madrasah aliyah di Kabupaten Ciamis. Penelitian ini menemukan keterlibatan emosional siswa mempunyai peran dan dampak tehadap keterlibatan perilaku dan keterlibatan kognitif siswa. Selain itu, dukungan orang tua, teacher-student relationship dan pengaruh teman sebaya merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh pada dinamika student engagement. After the last few years of students learning from home (online), some students have experienced a decrease in learning outcomes when returning to face-to-face learning, one of which is because students feel awkward with the learning environment and have difficulty interacting with teachers and peers. In this situation, student engagement is important to be the focus of attention, because student engagement is one of the keys to successful learning. This study aims to explore the dynamics of student engagement of Madrasah Aliyah students in post-Covid-19 learning. This study uses a qualitative research approach to explore the dynamics of student engagement in the learning process, through in-depth interviews with 3 madrasah aliyah students in Ciamis Regency. The study found that students' emotional engagement has a role and impact on students' behavioral engagement and cognitive engagement. In addition, parental support, teacher-student relationships and peer influence are influential factors on student engagement dynamics.
