Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelkangi oleh tidak adanya pembelajaran seni musik pada beberapa sekolah karena kurangnya kopetensi guru, sarana prasarana sekolah yang tidak memadai, serta kurangnya metode dan motivasi yang mengakibatkan siswa kurang memahami melodi pada suatu lagu. Dibutuhkan media pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien serta menarik agar pembelaran seni musik. Media pembelajran yang dikembangkan merupakan video animasi berbasis Hand Sign Kodaly. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah D&D (Desain and Development) dengan model yang dikembangkan oleh Richey dan Klein. Tahapan dalam melakukan penelitian ini menggunakan angket yang diisi oleh tiga ahli. Penelitian ini dilakukan uji terbatas pada 24 siswa kelas V SDN 113 Banjarsari Bandung. Proses pengembangan ini melalui proses validasi dan perbaikan dari para ahli. Hasil presentasi rata-rata validasi 100% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik” dengan begitu maka video animasi layak untuk digunakan. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya produk media video animasi ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut agar lebih menarik dan efisien. Kata Kunci : Video Animasi, Hand Sign Kodal, Pembelajaran Melodi This research is motivated by the absence of music learning in some schools due to the lack of teacher competence, inadequate school infrastructure, and lack of methods and motivation which results in students not understanding the melody in a song. Effective and efficient as well as interesting learning media is needed for music learning. The learning media developed is an animated video based on Hand Sign Kodaly. The research method used is D&D (Design and Development) with a model developed by Richey and Klein. The stages in conducting this research used a questionnaire filled out by three experts. This research was conducted in a limited test on 24 fifth grade students of SDN 113 Banjarsari Bandung. This development process went through a process of validation and improvement from experts. The average presentation result of validation is 100% with the category "Very Good", so the animated video is suitable for use. For further researchers, this animated video media product can be further developed to make it more attractive and efficient. Keywords: Video Animation, Hand Sign Kodaly, Melody Learning
