Abstract

Penilitian ini dilatarbelakaingi oleh kurangnya keterampilan peserta didik dalam menulis teks deskripsi. Hal tersebut, disebabkan oleh proses pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang menarik. Dengan demikian perlu adanya perbaikan dalam pembelajaran mengenai teks deskripsi. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan menambah variasi belajar salah satunya dengan menggunakan concept sentence dengan pendekatan CLIL. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model concept sentence dengan pendekatan CLIL terhadap keterampilan menulis teks deskkripsi pada peserta didik kelas IV SD dan mengukur perbedaan keterampilan menulis teks deskkripsi pada peserta didik kelas IV SD pada kelas yang menggunakan model concept sentence dengan pendekatan CLIL dan model example non-example dengan pendekatan inkuiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian quasi eksperiment dengan desain penelitian menggunakan pre-test and post-test with non-equivalent control-group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini yakni seluruh peserta didik kelas IV di sekolah dasar yang berlokasi di wilayah kecamatan Pacet dengan sampel salah satu kelas di IV SDN 01 Lemburawi dan SDN Maruyung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penerapan model concept sentence dengan pendekatan CLIL keterampilan menulis teks deskkripsi pada peserta didik kelas IV SD serta dari kedua kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan antara del concept sentence dengan pendekatan CLIL dan model example non-example dengan pendekatan inkuiri terhadap keterampilan menulis teks deskkripsi pada peserta didik kelas IV SD. ------------- This research was motivated by the lack of students' skills in writing descriptive texts. This is caused by the learning process being monotonous and less interesting. Thus there needs to be improvements in learning about descriptive text. Efforts that can be made are by adding variety to learning, one of which is by using concept sentences with the CLIL approach. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using the concept sentence model with the CLIL approach on descriptive text writing skills in fourth grade elementary school students and to measure the differences in descriptive text writing skills in fourth grade elementary school students in classes that use the concept sentence model with the CLIL approach and the CLIL approach. example non-example with an inquiry approach. This research uses a quasi-experimental research method with a research design using pre-test and post-test with non-equivalent control-group design. The population of this research is all class IV students in elementary schools located in the Pacet sub-district area with a sample of one class in IV SDN 01 Lemburawi and SDN Maruyung. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the application of the concept sentence model with the CLIL approach on descriptive text writing skills in fourth grade elementary school students and from both the experimental class and the control class, it shows that there is no difference between the concept sentence model with the CLIL approach and the example non-example model with the inquiry approach. on descriptive text writing skills in fourth grade elementary school students.
