Abstract

Tunagrahita adalah kondisi kecerdasan di bawah rata-rata dan ditandai oleh keterbatasan intelegensi serta ketidakcakapan terhadap komunikasi sosial. Terdapat permasalahan pada peserta didik dalam bidang olahraga renang khususnya dalam gaya dada 100m yaitu perserta didik belum mampu memperoleh waktu terbaik (best time) yang ditentukan, hal ini disebabkan karena peserta didik kurang memiliki motivasi internal maupun eksternal. Untuk meningkatkan prestasi yang dimiliki peserta didik diperlukan suatu teknik yang dapat memotivasi peserta didik dalam mencapai best time. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik reinforcement positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi olahraga renang pada siswa tunagrahita ringan di SLB BC Yatira Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Single Subject Research dengan desain A-B-A. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kinerja menggunakan pencatatan waktu yang diukur menggunakan stopwatch. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan ditampilkan dalam grafik garis sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan prestasi olahraga renang gaya dada 100m, dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya mean level pada kondisi Pada baseline 1 (A-1) sebesar 123,75, intervensi (B) sebesar 108,25 dan baseline 2 (A-2) sebesar 94,5. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prestasi olahraga renang gaya dada 100m mengalami peningkatan yang ditandai dengan semakin menurun atau semakin cepatnya waktu yang didapat. Intellectual disability is a condition characterized by below-average intelligence and limitations in social communication abilities. There are problems in students in the field of swimming sports, especially in the 100m breaststroke, namely students have not been able to get the best time determined, this is because students lack internal and external motivation. To enhance the performance of students, a technique that can motivate them to achieve their best time is required. The technique employed in this study is positive reinforcement. The objective of this research is to improve the swimming performance of students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB BC Yatira Cimahi. The methodology used is Single Subject Research with an A-B-A design. Performance data were collected through performance tests, recorded using a stopwatch. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and presented in simple line graphs. The results of this study indicate an improvement in the swimming performance in the 100m breaststroke style, as evidenced by an increase in the mean level during Baseline 1 (A-1) at 123.75, Intervention (B) at 108.25, and Baseline 2 (A-2) at 94.5. These findings suggest that swimming performance in the 100m breaststroke style has improved, as indicated by the decreasing time achieved.
