Abstract
Kematangan karier merupakan bagian yang penting yang harus dimiliki individu untuk mencapai keberhasilan karier. Siswa sekolah menengah pertama berada pada rentang usia 12 - 15 tahun, yang masuk pada masa remaja awal. Memahami diri sendiri, lingkungan sekitar, dan bakat serta kemampuan sendiri sangat penting untuk pengembangan karir dimasa remaja awal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui profil kematangan karier dan menghasilkan rancangan program bimbingan karier yang layak menurut para ahli teoritis dan praktisi bimbingan dan konseling. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif teknik survei. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 40 Bandung tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yaitu sebanyak 228 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) profil kematangan karier siswa kelas IX berada pada kategori cukup matang, dan 2) rancangan program bimbingan karier berdasarkan profil kematangan karier siswa kelas IX yang disusun dengan layanan perencanaan individual dan strategi bimbingan klasikal dan bimbingan kelompok. Career maturity is an important part that individuals must have to achieve career success. Junior high school students are in the age range of 12 - 15 years, which is when they enter early adolescence. Understanding theyself, the surrounding environment, and they’re own talents and abilities is very important for career development in early adolescence. The aim of this research is to determine the career maturity profile and a suitable career guidance program design according to theoretical experts and guidance and counseling practitioner. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with descriptive methods survey techniques. The participants in this research were class IX students of SMP Negeri 40 Bandung for the 2023/2024 academic year, namely 228 respondents. The research results show: 1) the career maturity profile of class IX students is in the quite mature category, and 2) the design of the career guidance program is based on the career maturity profile of class IX students which is structured by individual planning and classical guidance strategies and group guidance.
