Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman matematis merupakan pondasi awal dalam pembelajaran matematika. Namun, faktanya kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah, sehingga diperlukan inovasi pembelajaran dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Salah satu inovasi yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan menerapkan pembelajaran matematika berbasis masalah berbantuan media interaktif Google Slides dan Pear Deck. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengetahui apakah peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika berbasis masalah berbantuan Google Slides dan Pear Deck tergolong dalam kategori sedang, 2) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika berbasis masalah berbantuan Google Slides dan Pear Deck. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-experimental dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X (fase E) di salah satu SMA di Provinsi Lampung dengan sampel sebanyak satu kelas yang terdiri atas 33 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari tes kemampuan pemahaman matematis dan angket skala sikap siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika berbasis masalah berbantuan Google Sldes dan Pear Deck tergolong dalam kategori sedang, 2) hampir seluruh siswa menunjukkan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika berbasis masalah berbantuan Google Slides dan Pear Deck. Mathematical understanding abilities is the initial foundation in mathematics learning. However, the fact is that students' mathematical understanding abilities are still relatively low, therefore innovations in learning process are needed to overcome these problems. Applying interactive media Google Slides and Pear Deck with problem-based learning can be one of the innovations that can be used. The purposes of this research are: 1) to determine whether the improvement of students' mathematical understanding ability after getting problem-based mathematics learning assisted by Google Slides and Pear Deck is classified in the medium category, 2) to determine students’ responses to problem-based mathematics learning assisted by Google Slides and Pear Deck. The method used in this research is pre-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is the whole tenth grade students (phase E) of a high school in Lampung Province with one class consists 33 students as a sample. The data in this research were obtained from tests of mathematical understanding abilities and student attitude scale questionnaires. The results of this study show that: 1) the improvement of students' mathematical understanding ability after getting problem-based mathematics learning assisted by Google Slides and Pear Deck is classified in the medium category, 2) almost all students showed a positive response to problem-based mathematics learning assisted by Google Slides and Pear Deck.
