Abstract
Hasil pengamatan awal menunjukan bahwa peserta didik kurang peduli terhadap lingkungan dan kesehatan diri sendiri dengan mengkonsumsi makanan dan minuman yang mengandung pengawet, pewarna dan pemanis buatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan sekaligus meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan pada aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Fenomenologi dan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket dan wawancara kepada ketua adat, tokoh masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa dan kepada peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran. Tahapan penelitian tindakan kelas meliputi tahap perencanaan (plan), tindakan (act), pengamatan (observation) dan refleksi (reflect). Hasil penelitian menunjukan kecendrungan bahwa guru merancang pembelajaran dengan menggunakan konten youtube mengenai kampung adat Ciptarasa sebagai sumber belajar IPS dalam upaya meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan peserta didik. Pelaksanaan penerapan sumber belajar melalui tontonan youtube mengenai kampung adata Ciptarasa dalam menjaga hutan, menjaga sungai, mengkonsumsi makanan dan minuman sehat serta menjaga kebersihan lingkungan telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Penggunaan konten youtube mengenai kampung adat Ciptarasa telah mampu meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan peserta didik dalam hal menanam dan memelihara pohon di Sekolah, mengkonsumsi makanan dan minuman sehat, hemat dalam menggunakan air di Sekolah dan membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan supaya dijadikan rujukan bagi pengembangan pembelajaran IPS yang menggunakan konten youtube berbasis budaya di berbagai sekolah. Initial observation results show that students care less about the environment and their own health by consuming food and drinks that contain preservatives, colorings and artificial sweeteners. The aim of this research is to analyze and simultaneously increase environmental awareness in the aspects of knowledge and skills. This research uses phenomenology and classroom action research methods. Data were collected using observations, questionnaires and interviews with traditional leaders, community leaders in the Ciptarasa traditional village and students at SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran. The stages of classroom action research include planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The research results show a tendency for teachers to design learning using YouTube content about the Ciptarasa traditional village as a social studies learning resource in an effort to increase students' environmental awareness. The implementation of learning resources through YouTube viewing regarding the Ciptarasa traditional village in protecting forests, protecting rivers, consuming healthy food and drinks and maintaining environmental cleanliness has been carried out well. The use of YouTube content regarding the Ciptarasa traditional village has been able to increase students' environmental awareness in terms of planting and maintaining trees at school, consuming healthy food and drinks, being economical in using water at school and disposing of rubbish in its proper place. This research recommends that it be used as a reference for developing social studies learning using culture-based YouTube content in various schools.
