Abstract

ABSTRAK Perubahan paradigma pembelajaran dari pembelajaran Teacher Centered Learning (TCL) menjadi pembelajaran Student Centered Learning (SCL) mendorong siswa untuk aktif membangun pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku. Penelitian yang dilakukan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Self-Directed Learning berbasis Soft skills bertujutan untuk mengetahui proses penerapan model pembelajaran, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebanyak dua siklus dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X DPIB 2 SMKN 6 Bandung yang terdiri dari 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi untuk mengambil data mengenai aktivitas guru dan siswa. Tes digunakan untuk mengambil data hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan aspek kognitif. Dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengambil data mengenai aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran DPK. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa. Proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Self�Directed Learning berbasis Soft skills yaitu, guru bertindak sebagai fasilitator dan tidak mendominasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Siswa didorong agar memiliki inisiatif dan kemandirian belajar sehingga kemampuan soft skills siswa dapat berkembang selama proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran DPK. Dengan meningkatnya aktivitas pembelajaran maka dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X DPIB 2 SMKN 6 Bandung pada mata pelajaran DPK. Research conducted through the application of the Soft skills based Self-Directed Learning learning model aims to determine the process of applying the learning model, and improve student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were students of class X DPIB 2 SMKN 6 Bandung consisting of 28 students. Data collection techniques use observation to collect data on teacher and student activities. Tests are used to collect data on student learning outcomes based on cognitive aspects. Documentation is used to collect data on student activities and learning outcomes in DPK subjects. Data analysis used is descriptive statistics. The results showed an increase in teacher and student activities. The learning process carried out by the teacher by applying the Soft skills based Self-Directed Learning model namely, the teacher acts as a facilitator and does not dominate learning activities. Students are encouraged to have initiative and independence in learning so that students’ soft skills can develop during the learning process in DPK subjects. With increase in learning activities, it can improve the learning outcomes of students in class X DPIB 2 SMKN 6 Bandung in DPK subject.
