Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan siswa yang kesulitan menuangkan ide/gagasan dalam menulis puisi karena minimnya variasi media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Penelitiannya ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan lagu sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD, serta pengaruhnya terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa kelas IV SD. Perbedaan pengaruh antara lagu "Aku Koki Hebat" dan "Susan Punya Cita-Cita" dalam pembelajaran puisi siswa kelas IV SD juga diukur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Percobaan dan SD Negeri 05 Cinunuk dengan sampel penelitian yakni salah satu kelas IV dari masing-masing sekolah tersebut dengan siswa berjumlah 58 orang. Penerapan lagu “Aku Koki Hebat” dimulai dengan pembuatan lagu yang sesuai dengan perkembangan karakteristik siswa dan tema pelajaran siswa. Penerapan media lagu tersebut berjalan dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil pretest-posttest kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai 31,25 sebagai nilai terendah dan nilai 87,5 sebagai nilai tertinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data kelas eksperimen menunjukkan bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh penerapan lagu sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi para siswa kelas IV SD.Terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata pretest dari 48,06 menjadi 59,54 pada posttest, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan lagu sebagai media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari data yang diperoleh, tidak ditemukan perbedaan pengaruh antara kedua media lagu anak tersebut terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD. ----- This research is motivated by the issue of students struggling to express ideas in writing poetry due to the limited variety of instructional media used. The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of songs as instructional media to enhance the poetry writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students, as well as its influence on their writing skills. The differing effects of the songs "Aku Koki Hebat" and "Susan Punya Cita-Cita" in teaching poetry to fourth-grade students are also measured. The research method employed is a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population encompasses all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Percobaan and SD Negeri 05 Cinunuk, with the research sample consisting of one class from each school, totaling 58 students. The application of the song "Aku Koki Hebat" began with crafting a song that aligns with the students' developmental characteristics and the lesson's theme. The implementation of the song as a medium proceeded smoothly. Based on the results of the pretest-posttest for the experimental group, scores ranged from a minimum of 31.25 to a maximum of 87.5. The data analysis of the experimental group indicates an influence of implementing songs as instructional media on the poetry writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. An increase in the average pretest score from 48.06 to 59.54 in the posttest demonstrates an improvement in the poetry writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students when using songs as instructional media. Based on the obtained data analysis results, no significant difference in the effects of the two children's songs on the poetry writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students is found.
