Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran inside outside circle terhadap keaktifan belajar pada aspek visual activities, oral activities dan emotional activities pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Leuwigoong. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup, observasi dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data keaktifan belajar. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 282 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 32 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 32 siswa pada kelas kontrol. Sampel diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan statistik inferensial menggunakan uji-T dengan bantuan program SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) 26 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor gain 26,94 sedangkan kelas kontrol 5,38 hal tersebut menunjukan adanya perbedaan pengaruh terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa pada penerapan model pembelajaran yang berbeda. Pada aspek visual activities kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor 8,41 dan kelas kontrol 2,03. Pada aspek oral activities kelas eksperimen mendapat 7,63 dan kelas kontrol 1,03. Sedangkan aspek emotional activities kelas eksperimen memperoleh 10,91 dan kelas kontrol 2,31. Hasil tersebut menunjukan adanya perbedaan pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran inside outside circle dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Didukung dengan hasil analisis uji hipotesis independent samples test diperoleh thitung > ttabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan temuan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran inside outside circle terhadap keaktifan belajar IPA kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Leuwigoong. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the inside outside circle learning model on learning activeness in the aspects of visual activities, oral activities and emotional activities in class VIII science subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Leuwigoong. This type of research is a quantitative, quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The data collection techniques used were closed questionnaires, observations, and interviews to collect data on learning activeness. The subjects of this study were 282 students, with a sample of 32 students in the experimental class and 32 students in the control class. Samples were taken using the cluster random sampling technique. Data were analyzed by inferential statistics using a T-test with the help of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) 26 for Windows program. The results showed that the experimental class obtained a gain score of 26.94 while the control class was 5.38, indicating a difference in the effect on student learning activeness in the application of different learning models. In the visual activities aspect, the experimental class scored 8.41, and the control class scored 2.03. In the aspect of oral activities, the experimental class got 7.63 and the control class 1.03. While the emotional activities aspect of the experimental class obtained 10.91 and the control class 2.31. These results show that there is a difference in the effect of applying the inside-outside circle learning model with conventional learning models. Supported by the results of the independent samples test hypothesis test analysis obtained tcount> ttable so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the effect of the inside-outside circle learning model on the activeness of learning IPA class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Leuwigoong.
