Abstract

This research is motivated by phenomena in the field regarding the increase in the number of Muslims who are illiterate in the Qur'an. Learning to read Al-Qur'an letters is an initial provision for Muslims, therefore learning to read Al-Qur'an letters must be taught from an early age. To improve the ability to read the letters of the Qur'an an effective learning method is needed, one of the learning methods is the talaqqi Al-Qur'an method which is carried out directly face to face with the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the talaqqi musyafahah method to improve the ability to read Al-Qur'an letters in early childhood in Bandung Regency. The method used is quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The participants in this study were 30 class B children aged 5-6 years at Tunas Harapan Kindergarten, located in Nagarasari Kp, Loa Village, Paseh District, Bandung Regency. Data collection techniques using observation and performance. Data were analyzed using statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that the paired sample t test results obtained are sig.2 tailed of 0.00 <0.05, so the talaqqi musyafahah method is effective for improving the ability to read the letters of the Qur'an in early childhood. The recommendation in this study is that the Al-Qur'an learning method for early childhood should be further developed so that children can understand it more easily and focus more on learning.
