Abstract

Setiap anak memiliki potensi untuk melakukan kreativitas. Dengan kreativitas anak dapat berpikir untuk menciptakan hal baru dan relatif berbeda dengan orang lain, serta kepuasan anak dalam hasil yang diperoleh melalui kreativitas. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kemampuan kreativitas anak kelompok B RA Al-Ishlah Mathla’ul Anwar dalam aspek fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration melalui pemanfaatan media loose parts. Permasalahan yang terjadi di RA Al-Ishlah Mathla’ul Anwar bahwa pengembangan kreativitas anak masih menggunakan metode mencontohkan guru, pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru, serta media yang monoton seperti dari kertas origami dan juga majalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan kreativitas anak melalui pemanfaatan media loose parts. Kemampuan kreativitas dalam aspek fluency terjadi ketika anak mulai bisa mengekspresikan dirinya dalam menggunakan media loose parts. Kemudian dalam aspek flexibility, yaitu anak belajar memiliki rasa tanggung jawab terhadap hasil yang anak buat, serta pemecahan masalah. Dalam aspek originality, yaitu anak menjadi lebih bisa bereksplorasi secara mandiri menggunakan pemanfaatan media loose parts. Serta dalam aspek elaboration, yaitu anak dapat mendetailkan hasil karya menggunakan media loose parts. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini ditujukan kepada guru maupun para penyelenggara pendidikan agar dapat terus berupaya untuk mendukung dan memfasilitasi kemampuan kreativitas pada anak. Adapun untuk peneliti selanjutnya disarankan melakukan penelitian tentang kemampuan kreativitas anak usia dini dengan menggunakan penelitian PTK atau kuantitatif. With creativity children can think of creating new things and are relatively different from other people, as well as children's satisfaction in the results obtained through creativity. The purpose of this study was to determine the creative abilities of group B RA Al-Ishlah Mathla'ul Anwar in the aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration through the use of loose parts media. The problem that occurs at RA Al-Ishlah Mathla'ul Anwar is that the development of children's creativity still uses the teacher's example method, learning that is still teacher-centered, and monotonous media such as origami paper and magazines. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to describe children's creative abilities through the use of loose parts media. The ability of creativity in the aspect of fluency occurs when children begin to be able to express themselves using loose parts media. Then in the aspect of flexibility, namely children learn to have a sense of responsibility for the results that children make, as well as problem solving. In the aspect of originality, namely children are more able to explore independently using the use of loose parts media. As well as in the elaboration aspect, namely children can detail their work using loose parts media. Recommendations from this study are addressed to teachers and education providers so they can continue to strive to support and facilitate creativity in children. As for further researchers, it is recommended to conduct research on the creative abilities of early childhood by using CAR or quantitative research.
