Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran yang masih belum dapat memfasilitasi berdasarkan gaya belajar peserta didik khususnya pada materi gaya di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Gaya belajar ini merupakan cara peserta didik dalam mendapatkan informasi saat proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui rancangan media flipbook berbasis pendekatan gaya belajar materi gaya, mengetahui kelayakan media flipbook, dan mengetahui respon pengguna yaitu guru dan peserta didik terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Subjek penelitian terfokus pada peserta didik kelas IV di SDN Dr Cipto Pajajaran kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa flipbook berbasis pendekatan gaya belajar materi gaya dalam pembelajaran siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar. Kelayakan flipbook materi gaya ini dilakukan melalui pengisian kuesioner berupa angket kepada para ahli. Berdasarkan validasi ahli materi didapatkan perolehan skor 98,75%, ahli media 88,54%, dan ahli bahasa 75%. Hasil rekapitulasi berdasarkan validasi ahli sebesar 87,43% dengan kategori “sangat layak” dan dapat dilakukan uji coba terbatas kepada pengguna. Respon pengguna berdasarkan produk yang dirancang dilakukan melalui pengisian kuesioner. Respon guru memperoleh persentase 98,03%, sedangkan respon peserta didik memperoleh hasil persentase 87,46%. Berdasarkan respon guru dan peserta didik didapatkan hasil rekapitulasi sebesar 92,74% dengan kategori “sangat baik” digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya yaitu flipbook dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, lebih memperhatikan tata bahasa sesuai dengan usia siswa, diadakannya pelatihan untuk guru mengenai flipbook, serta rancang media tanpa menggunakan akses internet. ----- This research is motivated by the use of learning media which is still unable to facilitate based on the learning styles of students, especially on style material in grade IV Elementary School. This learning style is a way for students to get information during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the design of flipbook media based on the style material learning style approach, to determine the feasibility of flipbook media, and to determine user responses, namely teachers and students, to the product being developed. The research subjects focused on fourth grade students at SDN Dr Cipto Pajajaran, Bandung. This study uses the Design and Development (D&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research produces a product in the form of a flipbook based on the learning style approach to learning styles in the learning of fourth grade students in elementary schools. The feasibility of this style material flipbook is done through filling out a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire to the experts. Based on the validation of material experts, the score obtained was 98.75%, media experts 88.54%, and linguists 75%. The results of the recapitulation based on expert validation are 87.43% with the "very feasible" category and limited trials can be carried out on users. User response based on the designed product is done through filling out a questionnaire. The teacher's response obtained a percentage of 98.03%, while the student's response obtained a percentage of 87.46%. Based on the responses of teachers and students, the results of the recapitulation of 92.74% with the "very good" category were used as a medium for learning science for grade IV Elementary School. Recommendations for further researchers are that flipbook can be used in the learning process, pay more attention to grammar according to the age of students, hold training for teachers on flipbook, and design media without using internet access.
