Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai efektivitas penggunaan media kancing bermuatan terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika operasi hitung penjumlahan bilangan bulat di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar. Dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran matematika yang bersifat abstrak, memerlukan rumus dan penuh dengan hitungan. Dimana materi operasi hitung penjumlahan bilangan bulat sering kali membuat siswa terkecoh saat menjawab soal-soal yang di berikan, baik itu dari muatan positif atau negatifnya ataupun dari hasil angkanya. Menurut permendiknas no 22 Tahun 2006 tujuan pembelajaran matematika yang harus dapat tercapai oleh siswa yaitu pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Pemahaman konsep siswa harus dapat dicapai siswa agar guru dapat dengan mudah mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang peneliti lakukan, guru merencanakan dengan membuat RPP yang bersumber pada kurikulum 2013, dan saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung guru melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai dengan RPP dan berjalan dengan baik. Sedangkan analisis persentase pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dari soal evaluasi yang telah diberikan, kelas VI B SD Laboratorium UPI Tasikmalaya dikelompokkan menjadi 4 kelompok pemahaman matematis dari 23 siswa, yakni siswa yang berada pada kelompok tinggi sebanyak 10 dari 23 siswa dengan persentase 43,5%. Kemudian terdapat 7 orang siswa yang termasuk kedalam kelompok kemampuan sedang dengan persentase 30,4%. Kemudian terdapat terdapat 4 orang siswa yang termasuk kedalam kelompok kemampuan rendah dengan persentase 17,4%. Dan untuk kategori sangat rendah terdapat 2 orang siswa yang termasuk kedalam kelompok kemampuan yang sangat rendah dengan persentase 8,7%. Dari hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kancing bermuatan dapat membantu pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada pembelajaran matematika operasi hitung penjumlahan bilangan bulat di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar. The aim of this study is to provide information on the effectiveness of the use of loading buttons in relation to students' understanding of mathematical concepts in learning mathematics, arithmetic operations, addition of whole numbers in grade VI Elementary School. The learning background of mathematics is abstract, requires formulas and is full of calculations. Whenarithmetic to add whole numbers the students get lost when answering the questions given, either from the positive or negative or from the results of the numbers. According to the Minister of National Education No. 22 of 2006 the objectives of learning mathematics that students must achieve are to understand the students' mathematical concepts. Students need to understand student concepts so that teachers can easily achieve learning objectives. Based on the results of the analysis done by the researchers, the teacher made lesson plans based on the 2013 curriculum, and during the learning process the teacher did the learning according to the lesson plans and was successful. Although the percentage of students' understanding of mathematical concepts is analyzed from the given evaluation questions, the class VI B SD Laboratorium UPI Tasikmalaya is grouped into 4 mathematical understanding groups of 23 students, that is students who are in the advanced group because enough as 10 out of 23 students with a percentage of 43.5%. Then there are 7 students included in the average ability group with a percentage of 30.4%. Then there are 4 students included in the low ability group with a percentage of 17.4%. And for the very low category there are 2 students included in the very low ability group with a percentage of 8.7%. From the results of the analysis, it is shown that the use of loading button media can help students understand mathematical concepts in mathematics learning arithmetic operations and adding whole numbers in grade VI Elementary School Keywords: Load Buttons, Integers, Students' Mathematical Concept Understanding.
