Abstract
ABSTRAK Pandemi Covid-19 menjadi penyebab timbulnya banyak masalah di dunia pendidikan terlebih yang notabene berada di daerah pedesaan. Masih terdapat berbagai masalah yang utamanya terkait minimnya jaringan sehingga berpotensi menghambat proses pembelajaran. Keadaan tersebut tetap mengharuskannya untuk belajar dari rumah dengan sistem pembelajaran berbasis online demi menghindari wabah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan setelah menggunakan platform pembelajaran berupa Google Classroom. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ex Post Facto lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif serta instrumen pengumpulan data dibuat berupa kuesioner melalui Google Form dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII DPIB 1 dan XII DPIB 2 SMKN 1 Gantar sebanyak 38 orang dengan pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas penggunaan Google Classroom sebagai media pembelajaran ditinjau berdasarkan setiap indikator yaitu media yang menarik (62,39%), media yang komunikatif (60,77%), model yang relevan (64,34%), sistem waktu yang optimal (63,16%), dan hasil yang memenuhi standar (64,97%) menghasilkan persentase keefektifan sebesar 63,13% sehingga tergolong pada kategori cukup efektif. Sedangkan hasil dari ujian berupa ulangan harian didapatkan persentase kelulusannya pada kelas XII DPIB 1 sebesar 87,72% dan kelas XII DPIB 2 sebesar 84,20% yang artinya tergolong pada kategori sangat efektif. Melihat hasil tersebut, maka Google Classroom bisa dijadikan sebagai alternatif media untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Pembelajaran, Google Classroom. ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic has caused many problems in the world of education, especially those in rural areas. There are still various problems, mainly related to the lack of networks that have the potential to hinder the learning process. This situation still requires him to study from home with an e-learning-based learning system in order to avoid the outbreak. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of student learning on the subject of Road and Bridge Construction after using a learning platform in the form of Google Classroom. This study used the Ex Post Facto method and then analyzed quantitatively descriptively and the data collection instrument was made in the form of a questionnaire through Google Form and then analyzed using a Likert scale. The sample used in this study were 38 students of class XII DPIB 1 and XII DPIB 2 SMKN 1 Gantar with the sampling technique used purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of the use of Google Classroom as a learning media is reviewed based on each indicator, namely attractive media (62.39%), communicative media (60.77%), Relevant Models (64.34%), effective Time System Optimal (63.16%), and Results that Meet the Standards (64.97%) produce an effectiveness percentage of 63.13% so that it is classified in the quite effective category. While the results of the test are in the form of daily tests, the percentage of graduates for class XII DPIB 1 was 87.72% and class XII DPIB 2 was 84.20%, which means that it is in the very effective category. Seeing these results, Google Classroom can be used as an alternative media to be used in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: Effectiveness, Learning, Google Classroom.
