Abstract

Munculnya wabah covid-19 yang melanda dunia, merupakan tantangan tersendiri bagi dunia pendidikan. Pembinaan karakter religius pada situasi pandemi di sekolah merupakan salah satu bentuk upaya sistimatis dalam mewujudkan tujuan pendidika n nasional yaitu agar peserta didik tetap menjadi orang yang beriman, bertakwa dan berakhlak mulia. Dengan pembinaan karakter religius di sekolah peserta didik tetap terbiasa melaksanakan hal hal positif sesuai dengan tuntunan ajaran Islam. Dalam situasi pandemi covid-19, pembinaan karakter religius melalui mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di sekolah dirasakan mendapatkan kesulitan tersendiri karena dampak negatif dari pandemic tersebut. Sebab itu upaya kerjasama secara sistimatis dari semua komponen-komponen yang terkait dengan pembelajaran PAI di sekolah sangatlah diperlukan, terutama pihak pimpinan sekolah, para guru, lingkungan sekolah, lingkunan keluarga dan lingkungan masyarakatpun menjadi faktor pendukung keberhasilan pembinaan karakter religius. Penelitian ini merupakan upaya mencari pola pembinaan karakter religius di sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan, peneliti menemukan sebuah sekolah dianggap telah memiliki pola tersendiri yaitu di SMA Islam Al-Azhar 8 Summarecon Bekasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola pembinaan karakter religius melalui PAI di masa pandemi di SMA tersebut. Langkah-langkah untuk menemukan pola tersebut dilakukan dengan cara mendeskripsikan perencanan, pelaksanaan, sistem evaluasi, dan indikator keberhasilan pembinaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, dimana peneliti menjadi instrument kunci dalam penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik-teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan dalam bentuk reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Penelitian ini diharapkan memperoleh gambaran mengenai pola pembinaan karakter religius pada siswa melalui mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam saat pandemi. Maka dari itu dapat di simpulkan bahwa SMA Islam Al-Azhar 8 Summarecon Bekasi telah memiliki pola pembinaan karakter religius pada siswa melalui Mata Pelajaran PAI di masa pandemic covid-19. Fostering religious character in a pandemic situation in schools is one form of systematic effort in realizing the goals of national education, namely that students remain believers, pious and noble. By fostering religious character in schools, students are still accustomed to doing positive things in accordance with the guidance of Islamic teachings. In the covid-19 pandemic situation, fostering religious character through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in schools is felt to have its own difficulties due to the negative impact of the pandemic. Therefore, systematic cooperation efforts of all components related to Islamic Education learning in schools are needed, especially school leaders, teachers, school environment, family environment and community as a supporting factor for the success of fostering religious character. This research is an attempt to find a pattern of fostering religious character in schools. Based on the results of the preliminary study, researchers found that a school is considered to have its own pattern, namely in SMA Islam Al-Azhar 8 Summarecon Bekasi. This study aims to determine how the pattern of fostering religious character through Islamic Education during the pandemic at the high school. The steps to find this pattern are carried out by describing the planning, implementation, evaluation system, and indicators of the success of their coaching. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, where the researcher is a key instrument in the study. Collecting data using observation, interview, documentation and triangulation techniques. The research data analysis was carried out in the form of data reduction, data display, and data verification. This research is expected to obtain an overview of the pattern of fostering religious character in students through Islamic Religious Education subjects during the pandemic. Therefore, it can be concluded that SMA Islam Al-Azhar 8 Summarecon Bekasi has a pattern of fostering religious character in students through Islamic Education Subjects during the Covid-19 pandemic.
