Abstract

Internet merupakan kemajuan teknologi yang sangat nyata dan berpengaruh besar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga dalam dunia pendidikan menjadi media yang populer dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Kemampuan yang dimiliki guru belum maksimal dalam mepemanfaatkan internet untuk kepentingan diskusi online dan video confrence. Selain itu kemampuan guru kurang memadai dalam pengambilan informasi yang mengakibatkan terbatasnya penggunaan sumber daya internet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk pemanfaatan internet, dampak dari penggunaan internet serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pemanfaatan internet dalam pembelajaran kompetensi keahlian Teknik otomotif di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode survey. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 guru dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik Triangulasi Data. Simpulan yang didapat dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa internet yang digunakan dalam smartphone membantu guru dalam proses pembelajaran dan mempermudah pekerjaan mereka. Internet memberikan kemudahan bagi guru dan siswa untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran dengan secara cepat dan dimana saja. Namun dalam penggunaanya guru perlu melakukan pengawasan yang lebih agar pemanfaatan internet tepat untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Selain itu dukungan dari pihak sekolah untuk menyediakan sarana prasana sangat penting untuk keberlangsungan proses pembelajaran. The internet is a very real technological advancement and has a big influence in everyday life, so that in the world of education it has become a popular medium in learning activities. The teacher's ability is not yet maximal in using the internet for the benefit of online discussions and video conferences. In addition, the teacher's ability is inadequate in retrieving information which results in limited use of internet resources. This study aims to determine the form of internet use, the impact of internet use and the supporting and inhibiting factors of internet use in the learning of competency in automotive engineering expertise in vocational high schools. This research is a qualitative research with a survey method. There were 6 informants in this study who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis in this study using data triangulation technique. The conclusions obtained in this study indicate that the internet used in smartphones helps teachers in the learning process and makes their work easier. The internet makes it easy for teachers and students to get the information needed to support the learning process quickly and anywhere. However, in its use, teachers need to carry out more supervision so that the use of the internet is appropriate to support the learning process. In addition, support from the school to provide infrastructure is very important for the continuity of the learning process.
