Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) bagaimana perencanaan internalisasi nilai kemandirian dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, (2) bagaimana proses internalisasi nilai kemandirian dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, (3) apa saja kendala yang dialami dalam menginternalisasikan nilai kemandirian dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi terkait pelaksanaan internalisasi nilai kemandirian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Darun Nasya, Lembang. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris, tutor program dan peserta didik yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran. Objek penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di kelas dan di luar kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa guru menginternalisasikan nilai kemandirian dalam kegiatan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di kelas dan program Delight. Pada kegiatan di kelas, internalisasi nilai kemandirian muncul dalam setiap kegiatan pembelajaran meliputi : kegiatan pendahuluan, inti dan penutup. Pada program Delight, internalisasi nilai kemandirian disesuaikan dengan tingkatan kelas yaitu Basic Class, Intermediate Class dan Advance Class. Internalisasi nilai kemandirian melalui pembelajaran di kelas dan program Delight dapat meningkatkan kemampuan belajar Bahasa Inggris peserta didik.;--The problems of this study are (1) how the internalization planning of self-reliance in English teaching and learning activities, (2) how the internalization process of self-reliance in English teaching and learning activities, (3) what the obstacles to internalizing the value of self-reliance in English teaching and learning activities. This study aims at giving information about the internalization of self-reliance value in English teaching and learning activities.This study was descriptive qualitative. This study was conducted at SMA Darun Nasya, Lembang. The subjects of this study were English teacher, program tutor, and students involved in learning. The objects were the English teaching and learning activities that consisted of activities in classroom and outside of class. The instruments of the data collection were observation sheets, interview guides and documentation. The results of the study show that teacher internalized the self-reliance value through classroom and Delight program. In the classroom activities, internalization of self-reliance value include in each learning activities that are preliminary activity, core activity and closing activity. In the Delight program, internalization of self-reliance value customized by level of class such as Basic class, Intermediate class, and advance class. Internalization of self-reliance value through learning activities in the classroom and Delight program could improved students’ English learning ability.
