Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang desain didaktis topik segitiga dan segiempat. Desain yang dikembangkan bertumpu pada dua learning obstacle yaitu didactical obstacle dan epistemological obstacle. Didactical obstacle yang ditemukan berupa permasalahan pada alur belajar materi luas daerah segitiga dan segiempat, sedangkan epistemological obstacle yang ditemukan berupa terbatasnya pengalaman belajar siswa dalam konsep sifat-sifat maupun luas daerah bangun datar segitiga dan segiempat. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti merancang desain didaktis yang bertujuan untuk dapat meminimalkan learning obstacle tersebut dengan cara membuat alur belajar yang lebih mendekatkan pada penguatan konsep dan bertahap untuk mengatasi didactical obstacle dan menyajikan beragam konteks permasalahan untuk mengatasi epistemological obstacle. Kerangka berpikir penelitian ini menggunakan Didactical Desain Research (DDR) dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes dan dokumentasi. Implementasi desain didaktis dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri di Kabupaten Cianjur selama 4 pertemuan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain ini cukup efektif untuk meminimalkan learning obstacle. Desain didaktis ini pun dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif bahan ajar pada pembelajaran topik segitiga dan segiempat.;--- This study aims to create the didactic design of triangular and quadrilateral topics. The developed design is based on two obstacle learning that is didactical obstacle and epistemological obstacle. Didactical obstacle found in the form of problems in the learning path of material area triangle and quadrilateral, while the obstacle epistemological found in the form of limited learning experience of students in the concept of properties as well as the area of triangular and quadrilateral. Therefore, researchers designed a didactic design that aims to minimize the learning obstacle by making the learning trajectory closer to strengthening the concept and gradually to overcome the didactical obstacle and present a variety of contextual problems to resolve the epistemological obstacle. This research framework uses Didactical Design Research (DDR) with data collection techniques through tests and documentation. The implementation of didactic design was done on the seventh grade students in one of the State Junior High Schools in Cianjur District for 4 meetings. The results show that this design is effective enough to minimize learning obstacle. This didactic design can also be used as an alternative teaching material on learning triangle and quadrilateral topics.
