Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji karakteristik Ūlūl Albāb dalam suraħ Ali ‘Imrān ayat 190-192 yang relevansinya terhadap kompetensi guru. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kualitatif, dengan metode hermeneutika dan tafsir tahlīly, serta data yang diperoleh dari Alquran, tafsir, buku dan jurnal yang relevan. Perolehan hasil penelitian, Ūlūl Albāb adalah orang-orang yang menggunakan akal pikirannya dengan senantiasa selalu berzikir kepada Allah. Karakteristik yang dimiliki yakni selalu berusaha berpikir segala ciptaan-Nya, meyakini bahwa ciptaan dari Allah tidak ada yang sia-sia, berdoa dan menyerahkan diri kepada Allah, selalu berzikir, pasrah dalam mendengarkan dan mengikuti seruan Allah, bersungguh-sungguh mencari ilmu, menggunakan akal dan kalbu serta selalu memohon ampunan kepada Allah. Relevansinya yakni dalam kompetensi pedagogik, Ūlūl Albāb wawasannya yang jernih, selalu terbuka, bertindak adil, dan mampu mengajarkan nilai spiritual lebih komunikatif. Kompetensi kepribadian, Ūlūl Albāb selalu sadar dan yakin adanya Allah dalam ucapan dan perbuatan, menajamkan hati dan jika menghadapi sebuah musibah mereka selalu sabar untuk terus berzikir kepada Allah. Kompetensi sosial, Ūlūl Albāb selalu siap hidup dalam lingkup plural dan menjaga dalam ucapan mampu perbuatan supaya harmonis. Kompetensi profesional, Ūlūl Albāb akan terus mengisi nilai-nilai spiritual di dalam materinya supaya dapat memberi tahu hal-hal positif dan negatifnya terhadap peserta didik supaya pembelajarannya berjalan utuh. --- The research examines the characteristics of Ūlūl Albāb in suraħ Ali ‘Imrān verses 190-192 which are relevant to teacher competencies. It adopted a qualitative approach with hermeneutics and tahlīly tafseer method. The data were obtained from Alquran, interpretation books, and relevant journals. The findings show that Ūlūl Albāb is defined as people who use their mind by continuously remembering Allah (dzkir). Their characteristics include always trying to contemplate all of God’s creations, believing in the fact that nothing of Allah’s creations is vain, praying and submitting themselves to Allah, always remembering Allah, faithfully listening to and following Allah’s commands, seriously searching for knowledge, and using the mind and the heart to always seek for Allah’s forgiveness. The relevancies of these characteristics to pedagogic competency is that Ūlūl Albāb have clear insight, are open-minded, act fairly, and are able to teach spiritual values communicatively. In terms of personal competency, Ūlūl Albāb are always aware of and believe in Allah’s existence as shown in their words and deeds, consistently increase their conscience, and are always patient in their constant remembrance of Allah. With regard to the social competency, Ūlūl Albāb are always ready to live in a plural environment and keep their words and deeds to maintain harmony. Finally, as regards professional competency, Ūlūl Albāb will continuously imbed spiritual values in the teaching materials in order to inform the positive and negative things to students, so that the teaching and learning will be holistic.
