Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA pada materi listrik dinamis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain ”Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Ciamis Propinsi Jawa Barat yang terdiri dari 9 kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil dua kelas yang dipilih secara acak sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 32 siswa dan kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Kelas eksperimen mendapatkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar kognitif dalam bentuk pilihan ganda sedangkan tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif berupa soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek secara signifikan dapat lebih meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa dibandingkan dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional. Rata-rata <g> hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen 0,65 (kategori sedang) dan kelas kontrol 0,30 (kategori sedang) sedangkan rata-rata <g> keterampilan berpikir kreatif untuk kelas eksperimen 0,42 (kategori sedang) dan kelas kontrol 0,18 (kategori rendah). Dari perbandingan rata-rata <g> hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada kedua kelas, menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dibanding penerapan model pembelajaran konvensional. Experimental studies have been conducted on the impact of the implementation of project-based learning model physics of senior high school students on Electrodynamics. This study propose to determine the increasing of the cognitive learning outcomes and creative thinking skills’s students impact to application of project-based learning model physics. The problem that will be answered through this research "Is the application of project-based learning model physics can enhance the cognitive learning outcomes and creative thinking skills of senior high school students"? Method used was a quasi experimental and the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The Subjects were students of X grade at one of the senior high schools in Ciamis district, West Java province. The research instrument used implementation model observation sheet, the cognitive learning outcomes pretest and posttest in objective form type multiple-choice tests and creative thinking skills pretest and posttest in essay form related Electrodynamics. Based on the analysis of data the average normalized gain for mastery concepts <g> is 0.65 for the experimental class and 0.30 for the control class and both of class have a middle category. While the average normalized gain <g> creative thinking skills for experimental class 0.42 (middle category) and 0.18 (low category) for the control class. It can be concluded that project based learning model can significantly enhance the mastery concepts and creative thinking skills of students compared with conventional learning in control class.
