Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis web menggunakan model problem-based learning untuk materi pemrograman dasar. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa yang dalam pelaksanaannya menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis problem-based learning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi. Tahapan pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran ini terdiri dari tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan tahap penilaian. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes yang dilakukan oleh siswa setelah menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran yang didalamnya menggunakan model problem-based learning. Sementara untuk data penilaian terhadap multimedia menggunakan kuesioner yang dirancang berdasarkan Learning Object Review Instrument (LORI) version 1.5 yang ditujukan kepada ahli materi dan ahli media, juga siswa sebagai pengguna aplikasi multimedia tersebut. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa (1) penilaian multimedia oleh ahli media terhadap multimedia pembelajaran berbasis problem-based learning sebesar 85,33 dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik, penilaian multimedia oleh ahli materi sebesar 86,25 dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik, dan penilaian siswa terhadap multimedia sebesar 82,35 dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik; (2) multimedia dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa dilihat dari adanya peningkatan nilai dengan gain sebesar 0,53 yang termasuk kedalam kategori sedang.----------The aim of this research is to develop a web-based multimedia learning using problem-based learning models for basic programming class. The study also aimed to determine the increase of students cognitive abilities which in the application used multimedia learning based with problem-based learning models. This study was conducted in SMK Sangkuriang 1 Cimahi. The phases of development of multimedia learning consist of analysis, design, development, implementation and assessment phase. The data were obtained from tests carried out for the students after using multimedia learning by using problem-based learning models. While the assessment of the multimedia datas using questionnaires were designed based Learning Object Review Instrument (LORI) version 1.5 addressed to learning context experts and multimedia experts, as well as the students of the multimedia application users. From this study, it was found that (1) multimedia assessment by multimedia experts on multimedia learning based using problem-based learning models is at 85.33 and fall into the very well category, the multimedia assessment by learning context experts is at 86.25 and is included in the excellent category, and the multimedia assessment by students is at 82,35 and is included in the excellent category; (2) multimedia can enhance students cognitive abilities seen from the increase in value with a gain of 0.53 were included into the medium category.
