Abstract

Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Medeka (MBKM) merupakan program pengembangan diri yang memberikan fleksibilitas kepada mahasiswa untuk mengeksplorasi minat dan potensi mereka diluar kurikulum yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh MBKM terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam mengikuti program – program MBKM di Prodi Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan survey kepada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Geografi angkatan 2019 dan 2020 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang pernah mengikuti program MBKM. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Hasil dari penelitian ini secara keseluruhan berdasarkan variabel implementasi program MBKM menunjukan implementasi program MBKM pada program studi Pendidikan Geografi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia memiliki rentang nilai tinggi yaitu 2,63, artinya menandakan program MBKM yang diluncurkan oleh pemerintah dapat diterapkan dengan baik. 2) Hasil dari penelitian minat mahasiswa dalam mengikuti program MBKM berdasarkan data yang di dapat oleh peneliti menunjukan hasil nilai yang tinggi sebesar 2,66 yang menandakan antusias mahasiswa dalam mengikuti program MBKM sangat tinggi. 3) Pengaruh MBKM terhadap minat mahasiswa terbukti signifikan yang menunjukan mahasiswa memiliki minat terhadap program – program MBKM yang telah disediakan, hal ini sesuai dengan hasil uji regresi linier sederhana yang menunjukan nilai koefisien determinasi (R square) sebesar 0,154 atau 15,4%. Program MBKM memberikan pengaruh baik kepada mahasiswa dan menjadi tempat yang dapat menjadi bekal bagi mahasiswa untuk menghadapi dunia kerja setelah lulus dari perguruan tinggi. Namun tetap dalam pelaksanaannya perlu adanya evaluasi untuk memperbaiki kekurangan – kekurangan yang ada. Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Medeka (MBKM) is a self-development program that provides flexibility for students to explore their interests and potential outside the established curriculum. This study aims to analyze the effect of MBKM on student interest in participating in MBKM programs at the Geography Education Study Program, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Data were obtained by conducting a survey to students of the 2019 and 2020 batches of Geography Education Study Program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia who had participated in the MBKM program. The results in this study are: 1) The results of this study as a whole based on the MBKM program implementation variable show that the implementation of the MBKM program in the Geography Education study program at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia has a high score range of 2.63, which means that it indicates that the MBKM program launched by the government can be implemented well. 2) The results of research on student interest in participating in the MBKM program based on data obtained by researchers show a high value of 2.66 which indicates that student enthusiasm in participating in the MBKM program is very high. 3) The effect of MBKM on student interest is proven to be significant which shows that students have an interest in the MBKM programs that have been provided, this is in accordance with the results of the simple linear regression test which shows the coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.154 or 15.4%. The MBKM program has a good influence on students and is a place that can be a provision for students to face the world of work after graduating from college. But still in its implementation there needs to be an evaluation to improve the shortcomings that exist.
