Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media animasi berbasis local wisdom untuk kelancaran membaca siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan &D type 2 Product and Tools Research. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, lembar penialian validasi ahli, kuisioner respon pengguna dan wawancara, dan soal tes kemampuan kelancaran membaca siswa. Tahap perancangan media animasi berbasis local wisdom yaitu melalui penyusunan jadwal pengembangan, penentuan sumber daya yang dibutuhkan, penyusunan GBPM (Garis-Garis Besar Program Media), penyusunan storyboard, penyusunan perangkat media animasi. Model media animasi yang dikembangkan yaitu video untuk kelancaran membaca siswa yang dikemas melalui teks cerita, gambar ilustrasi, gambar karakter, audio, video dan infografis. Berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi penilaian keseluruhan oleh seluruh validator yaitu ahli media dan ahli bahasa terhadap masing-masing aspek media animasi berbasis local wisdom untuk kelancaran membaca siswa sekolah dasar mendapatkan rekapitulasi akhir yaitu 90,52%. Dengan hasil rekapitulasi tersebut, maka media animasi yang dikembangkan tersebut “Sangat Layak” digunakan dalam proses membaca lancar di sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi keseluruhan respon pengguna yaitu guru dan peserta didik terha dap masing-masing aspek pada aspek media animasi berbasis local wisdom untuk kelancaran membaca siswa sekolah dasar mendapatkan persentase akhir yaitu 93,52% yang berarti bahwa media tersebut sangat layak digunakan untuk kelancaran membaca. -----  This development research aims to produce local wisdom-based animation media products for elementary school students' reading fluency. The method used is the Design and Development (D&D) method with the R&D type 2 Product and Tools Research development model. The instruments used were documentation, expert validation assessment sheets, user response questionnaires and interviews, and student reading fluency test questions. The stage of designing local wisdom-based animated media is through the preparation of a development schedule, determining the resources needed, preparing GBPM (Media Programme Outlines), preparing storyboards, and preparing animated media devices. The animation media model developed is a video for students' reading fluency which is packaged through story text, illustration images, character images, audio, video, and infographics. Based on the recapitulation of the overall assessment by all validators, namely media experts and linguists on each aspect of local wisdom-based animated media for reading fluency of elementary school students, the final recapitulation is 90.52%. With the results of this recapitulation, the animated media developed is "Very Feasible" to be used in the process of fluent reading in elementary schools. Based on the overall recapitulation of user responses, namely teachers and students to each aspect of the local wisdom-based animated media for reading fluency of elementary school students, the final percentage is 93.52%, which means that the media is very feasible to use for reading fluency.
